WANTED: Alvina Valenta 9960

So I probably should have never tried this dress on since it is out of my budget but I just had to. Well just as I suspected...I completely fell in LOVE with this dress! Now I am on the hunt for it! If you have bought it and plan on selling it after the wedding, or even if you know someone who has it and is thinking about selling it! Let me know PLEASE!! My wedding is in May 2011 so I would obviously need it at least 2 months before. I can do a label size 6 or 8, maybe even a 10 if I have too and would prefer Ivory in color but open to another color.  My measurements are kind of weird 33-24-37 so a bigger size is ok as I can alter the bust and waist no problem. If you want to contact away from the boards feel free to e-mail. little_lola21@yahoo.com
THANKS LADIES!!

Re: WANTED: Alvina Valenta 9960

  • Have you looked up trunk shows?
dont make ur password so easy. gbck2CA2 hahahaha
  • Try oncewed.com or preownedweddingdresses.com.
  • Try bridepower.com! I got my dress through them. It's a bridal outlet out of Boston. I actually went to their store location in Boston. They buy overstock from designers and sample gowns from bridal salons. They didn't have the dress I wanted (Amsale Tyler), but they have a gown locator service!! I took advantage of this, and they found it for me!! I got a regularly priced at $4000 dress for $1915!!! They all come in sample sizes (usually 8 or 10). Mine was an 8 even though I'm a 4/6. The seamstress told me it will be no problem altering my dress b/c there's no beading on it so you can take it in a lot. It looks to be the same for your dress, so you should be okay. There's plenty of reviews on weddingwire if you want to check it out! They clean and repair the dresses (if needed) for no extra charge! PM me if you have any questions about them! Good luck in your search!!
  • I have looked at preownedweddingdresses.com and oncewed.com, both places each had ONE dress and was not my size :( So the mission keeps on.

As for bridepower.com, I had never heard of it but I did check it out. I am now on the notifying list so we will see what happens!

    Thank you girls so much!
