Buying Bridemaid Dresses online?

I feel in love with a Lazaro bridesmaid dress- the store wants $254 a dress but they offered them to me at $203 if I order all 4 through them.  The problem is that while searching online, I found a few websites that offer the same dress for $134.

Has anyone ordered from one of these websites and how reliable are they?

Re: Buying Bridemaid Dresses online?

  • Did your girls try them on in another store first to make sure they look good on everyone? Be 100% sure before you place the order.
  • Did you ask each bridesmaid (individually and privately) about her budget BEFORE you selected this dress? Or are you just planning to say, "We can get the dress for $203, are you cool with that?"

Ask them about their budgets before you go any further. If you just pick a dress and ask them if they agree with the price, they may feel pressured/guilted into saying yes even if they can't afford it.

To answer your question, legit wholesale sites include netbride.com, rkbridal.com, pearlsplace.com.

  • We live in Ohio. DD found the bridesmaids dresses she wanted for $80 less and free shipping than any store here could or would match. While she ordered them online this is also a "brick and morter" store. They ordered 8 dresses, of the 8 only one has to have any alterations.  They came in when expected so this has been a very good experience. The dresses were by Enzoani.
  • I used bestbridalprices.com for my bridesmaid dresses, and they all got theirs on schedule with no issues. One disadvantage is that you don't have the store consultants to measure you, so make sure your bridesmaids actually measure themselves instead of guessing what size they need or ordering their street size.
