Hi everyone! I'm getting married April 16th, 2011 and I originally bought a strapless dress, but without really thinking. I have Vitiligo on my back, which is a lack of pigment that makes white patches on my skin. I also have scarring from a bad sunburn from last July on my shoulders. (I went on a 5 hour hike without sunscreen - pretty stupid...) When I bought my dress, I just figured it was still a tan line (I got my dress a couple months after the burn), but here in January, it is still there, so I'm pretty sure it's scarring.
I got the dress and then after a couple months started thinking about putting some sort of sleeves on it to cover my skin. I don't want to be worried about how my skin looks on my wedding day. I saw the cover of BRIDES magazine (sorry for it not being TK mag!) a couple months ago and loved the sheer illusion neckline dress on the cover.
Has anyone had a sheer illusion neckline, or is going to have one? Does anyone have pictures? Is or has anyone added one to thier dress? I know it should be pretty easy to put on when I get my dress altered, but I'd like to see more pictures of it.
*Besides wanting to add something more to my strapless dress, I come from a modest dressing background and think it would take away some stress and pressure from my family (mostly my mom...)
