Shoe Rentals for bridesmaids??

I think it sounds really gross to rent shoes but...I hate to make my bm's buy shoes that they will only wear for like 2 hours!!

Are there any places that let you rent shoes???

Re: Shoe Rentals for bridesmaids??

  • Why not just let them wear shoes they already own?  Shoes that don't fit properly can cause pain (I've heard of a girl needing surgery after an unfortunate pair of bridesmaid shoes), and honestly, no one will notice or care about the shoes anyway.  Just tell them to get something that goes with the dress, or give them a neutral color and some very basic style guidelines (i.e. silver strappy, black open toe) and let them choose their own.

This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
  • Just tell them a color (or a few colors) and let them buy their own shoes that they're comfortable wearing.  If you pick a color like black, silver/gold, or nude they'll be able to wear them again, and they may already have something that works in their closet.

Ditto PPs. Give your girls some basic guidelines and let them either buy their own shoes, or wear a pair they already own. That way they'll be sure to get use out of them after the wedding. Nobody will care if your girls aren't in matching shoes.

  • ditto PP's.  BM shoes are meaningless.
