Sweaty Legs??

My dress is mermaid cut, and when I went for my first fitting two weeks ago, my legs were sweating like crazy and all I was doing was standing on the podium.  Does anyone have any suggestions to stop this?

Maybe use some baby powder between them. Or you could go to the drug store and look for other absorbent powder (maybe the kind for your feet - but it may not smell so nice).

Powder and spanx.  I wore spanx because I got so hot in my dress I didn't want my legs to sweat and chafe.

Either Spanx under your dress, or Monistat chafe-relief powder-gel.  I also sweat a LOT and I use the powder-gel on my thighs and under my breasts.  It works wonders!

make sure you don't use a heavy bodycream on your legs that day... heavy bodycreams always make me sweat sooner.

She says it keeps her from pouring sweat and chaifing.  She uses it on her thighs, bikini area, under her breasts and arms.  I talked with her before posting this and she thinks it could really help you.

I'm going through the same thing.  I had my first fitting a few weeks ago and just standing in the room I was completely drenched.  I'm nervous to think what the wedding day would be like.  I agree with wearing spanx, but spanx are not something I could see myself wearing for 8 hours.  I ended up purchasing Under Armour white compression shorts.  They do the same trick, but they aren't as tight as spanx.  Good luck!

It sounds silly, but just wipe regular stick deodorant on the inside of your thighs.  I did this while wearing skirts in Haiti, and it worked like a charm.
