Tips to clean a yellowed lace veil?

For my wedding next spring, I am using my mother's veil which is 30 years old and is in great condition, aside from the yellowed lace. Any tips on how to clean this? Would a dry cleaner be able to refresh it? I've heard soaking in 1 cap of peroxide to 1 gallon of water or oxy clean can do the trick. Any tips???

I would start by asking a professional (i.e., dry cleaner that specializes in wedding gowns, etc.). I have read articles online about bleaching a veil, but I would be very scared to try it out the first time on my mother's veil. You could probably find a cheap one at a thrift shop to test first if you decide to try it yourself.
