Ivory Dress, what about tux colors?

Went to try on wedding dresses this weekend and found that Ivory looks best on my skin.  The lady helping me said that the groom and other guys would have to wear ivory shirts then, but we plan on going with Grey tuxes.  I don't think Ivory would look great with grey.  I discussed with two of my bridesmaids and they didn't think wearing white would really be all that bad for the guys.  Anyone have this problem or have suggestions?

White shirts will be fine.  I'm also wearing ivory and the guys will be in the classic black and white tuxes.

My dress is not truly white and we are having the guys wear white shirts and also the flower girl's dress is white.  It will look just fine!

White shirts will be fine.  My dress was ivory but the guys' shirts and the flowers were white.  It didn't make the dress look dingy and it doesn't look like the fabrics are different colors.

Answer to your question-- 

I too have an Ivory wedding dress and with a Champagne Sash.  We are having an evening wedding, so my FH will wear a Black double breasted tux, with a Ivory Shirt and Champagne tie and vest.  Which looks elegant and the groomsmen will wear the double breasted tuxes also with the other color i am having which is the mermaid color, so they will have ivory shirts and have the mermaid tie and vest to match my bridesmaids.

Why are you talking to the BMs about this, and not your FI and the groomsmen?

Do white shirts. Not everything in your wedding has to be perfectly matched.
