Best woman

Hi Ladies,
I have been posting on my local NJ board but wanted to through this one out to a larger audience.  Are any of your FIs doing a Best Woman instead of BM and if so what is she wearing.  My FI is having is sister has is BW, an idea I fully support. But I am not sure if she should wear the same color but different style as my MOH or if she should maybe wear a pretty black dress. Would love to know your thoughts. Thanks!

I did not have a best woman, but I know of two attire options that are popular: have her wear either the same color as your BMs, or have her in black to match your groomsmen's tuxes. Either is totally fine, but I like the idea of the black dress better for both cohesion, and because she may already have something fabulous in her closet.

My friend did this and his siter wore a black dress.

A friend of mine had a groomswoman and she wore the BM dress only in a different color.  The BM dress was maroon with black accents and the groomswoman had the same dress only in black with maroon accents.  It looked great.

My brother is having one and they left it to her she decided a black version of the BM dress.

I also think black (or the color of the groomsmens tux) would look better than matching the bridesmaids dresses.
