I need some suggestions.
We currently have two jars of money that we keep stashed away. One jar contains the spare change and loose dollars that I find in the washing machine, and the other is for change that we find on the ground while we're out and about, we call it our "found money". At the moment, the "found money" jar is slated for Michael's 80th birthday. Our plan is to go out and find cops and do burn outs right in front of them, just because I think it'd be funny to mess with the cops, and we'll be really old so we won't care so much any more. Our theory is that most cops would think it's funny and not give us a ticket, but our agreement is that we have to stop after/if we get 2 tickets. The money in this jar will be used to pay for the tickets, and possibly any increases to our auto insurance. After 50 years, I think we'll have enough to cover it.
I don't know what to do with the laundry jar. So far our ideas have been, use the money yearly to buy funny prank gifts for our family at Christmas, save it for a vacation, or use it to buy something totally off the wall that we'd probably never actually consider buying because it's a ridiculous (but fun) waste of money. I think the vacation thing is out, we don't have the patience to wait that long to accumulate the kind of money it would take to fund a vacation. Do you have any suggestion or ideas? Do you have any weird things you do to put back fun money? if so, what do you use them for?
