A North Face Denali jacket sell for under $165 in a RETAIL store. Not Ebay.
My FI bought me one for my birthday and lost the receipt. He swears he put it in the box, but it wasn't there. Anyways, I went today to exchange it for the EXACT same jacket just in a different size.
You know what they tell me? They can only give me a $90 credit for the jacket, even if all I do is exchange it. Apparently in the last 30 days one sold for that. I understand that people have policies they have to follow. I do. But what the hell was wrong with the jacket that sold for $90. Even the manager of the store said something seemed fishy with that.
So he calls around for me and turns out the jacket that sold for $90 had a huge hole in the side of it. It was damaged. How is that remotely the same thing? Especially if the coat being returned will be sold for the $165.
