Name that Knottie

I'm bored (read: I finished all the crap I had to do today) and need some entertainment, so I'll start.

List a few characteristics of a Knottie, then we'll try and guess who it is.  And so on.  I suspect some people will be better at this than me.

Hokay so, this knottie...

Has a gir-cat.
Lives in Florida.
Writes a lot.
Is seven years younger than her H.
