I think she made the right choice with Ed - I really like him.  I think this relationship will last at least a year.  I would have kicked Reid in the nads for the stunt he pulled.  Sorry, you can't decide after the fact that you really are in love with me.  You snooze, you lose, buddy.  And I never got the Kiptyn love.  His ears bugged me.

I think Ed is dull as dirt, so it might just work.  That ring was horrible.

J&J, YES. And Kyp kept saying "see myself marrying her" too--you see yourself? or you WANT to? I really, really like Ed. Plus I kind of think that Jillian is a little more foul-mouthed, drinking, cut loose kind of girl than they showed and Ed fits that (esp. when I saw him TRASHED in the "never aired" stuff on the tell-all). Kyp's all "I love the children, I'm all philanthropic, I never get boogers, yadda yadda". I can tell Jill wants to fart in front of her man. I am stupidly excited to watch After The Rose.

See, I give Kiptyn credit for that.  The idea that you know you want to marry this chick that you've known for weeks in this crazy situation while she dated 10 other guys and all of your dates have been total fantasy is just insane.  I think she picked ED b/c she knew he would give her the ring and I think she likes that he's more into her than she is into him.

I really like Ed.  I will even go out on a limb and say that I think they will actually get married sometime soon.  I think they are super cute together.  I am also glad that he was apparently able to get it up.  HOWEVER, showing the volcano after their sex scene made me LOL.  I agree w/ Nov.  I think it was horribly stupid of Reid/the producers/whatever to have him come back.  It was just awkward and sad.

Reid was always my favorite, until I saw the out takes that were never shown at the men tell all episode...then seeing ED totally wasted, made me just love him! It helped me see that he can let loose and be a fun drunk (i dont drink...) but I think its important to see that side of someone before you get married, because they can turn into a wild maniac or a funny goof. So Im pretty happy with the choice she made...As far as Reid goes....I CANT believe he would do that to her!!!

OH BTW since the last poster mentioned the lava shooting thing after the "sex" scene (or what we presume it was!)....that was hilarious. My fiance BURST out laughing!

We were out last night so we only saw the last half hour or so. I'm happy with her choice and I think they actually have a shot, they seem to have real natural chemistry.

I was pretty shocked when she didn't choose Kiptyn, because I felt like she really favored him from the beginning and he started saying all the "perfect" things she wanted to hear at the end.  But I guess it was too little too late for all that.  Having said that, I was really glad she picked Ed.  I don't know why, but I've liked him since the start (even though he does seem a little like dry toast).That whole Reid scene was just awky and awful.  What a crummy situation to put her in right at the last second.  I'm glad she didn't let that sway her decision.  And the whole time I pictured the producers and Ed's limo drivers in communication trying to stall his arrival while Reid went down in flames, and them just driving all over the island with Ed being like where the hell are we going, can you please hurry the foff up

My guess is, Reid will be the next bachelor.  The show probably plotted that whole thing with Reid to make his mark.I dont like the fact that those two were 'allowed' to return to the show once they got kicked off or left on their own!I would like to see Michael as the next young bachelor though.

Holy crap I love Ed so much, I was so excited last night.I'm naive about this stuff a lot, but I think they have a good chance at staying together. I felt bad for Reid, even though what he did was fairly tool-ish. I was pissed at Jillian for hugging him so much and staring into his eyes and making him think he had a chance. I like Kyp, but he's just too chiseled and hairless and whatnot. I liked Ed's manly realness. I heard that Kyp is the next bachelor.

I think you hit the nail on the head for me Jens - I feel like Ed is about as real as these guys get.  For that reason alone, I liked him more than anyone else.  Kyp as the next bachelor sounds annoying to me.  I dislike him for no real reason.

I don't think any of the dudes is interesting enough to be the Bachelor.  That as the reason they brought back Reid would not surprise me though.
