  • Not yet, but I plan too.  Worth it?

  • I have to remind myself I spent $35 for the whole first season, not just one episode.  In retrospect, I probably should have tried harder to find it for rent.  However, my intense dislike of Felicia Day may be casting a shadow on my opinion of the episode.Non-spoilery summary:  MUCH bigger sci-fi aspect, which I like.  I appreciate Joss' ability to create complete alternate universes with their own lingo and you can pick up on what's happening without a bunch of tedious exposition.  I think this was done nicely in Firefly with his presentation of the future. There's not actually that much time spent with familiar characters.  They are mostly only shown in flashbacks.  I tell you this because it was kind of a disappointment for me and I probably would've liked it better had I known that going in.Also know that you will be left with a LOT of loose ends, but from what I understand the second season is going to jump ahead (not as far as this episode, at least at first), so viewing this will probably be helpful to understanding the show.
