For those of you that are using tuxes in your wedding.  What color tux/vest/tie is your WP wearing?  Is the groom wearing the same as the GM or different?

Ben wanted all black everything so that's what we did.  Not my choice, but it was fine.  Everyone wore the same one--Ben just had a fancier bout.

My bridesmaids have green dresses, so we decided to have the GM's wear silver vests & ties, ushers matching as well.  FI is wearing an ivory vest/tie to match my ivory dress.

All wore black tuxes with ivory shirts... groom had ivory tie & vest as well, groomsmen and Dad's had black ties and vests.

And same question to you Tiffany....my FI wants to wear the ivory but doesn't know if it will look right with the white shirt.

My FI is going to wear a custom black tux with a white shirt, no vest, and a fuschia tie to match our colors.

We don't have groomsmen.

FI is going to wear all black (tux, shirt, vest) except have a blue tie.  The groomsmen will either have a black tux with ivory shirt and black tie and vest or blue tie and vest whichever option they like or looks better.  We just wanted to make sure Matt looked different and he wanted to be all blacked out except the blue tie.

Everyone in our party wore ivory shirts to match my dress.   I wouldn't wear ivory on white.  Is that what you mean?

The groomsmen are all wearing black vests and ties and FI is wearing a black vest with a silver tie to match my dress and stand out from the groomsmen.

We looked at ivory and white shirts, and decided on white shirts for everyone, even FI who is wearing an ivory vest.

GM, and FI are wearing black tuxes, white shirts, watermelon vests, and a watermelon/black tie. My girls dresses are watermelon. Ushers, and my dad are wearing all black with white shirts.

Hubby is thinking about doing all black with white shirts for him & the GMs.

GM are all wearing all black with fuschia ties and FI is wearing black tux with ivory vest and tie.  everyone else will just be in black and white.

SoontoBe:  Where are you finding fuschia ties?  Men's Warehouse doesn't carry a pretty fucshia so I was just going to buy them some pink ties.

DH wasn't a fan of the white ivory ties, so the groomsmen wore solid green ties while he wore a striped green tie

Classic black tuxedos for all the guys. Groomsmen, ushers, dads wore black ties with black vest and Jeff wore ivory tie and vest. don't remember the shirt.

Looking back, I would have had everyone in black bow ties...way classy.

We're not doing tuxes, but FI is wearing a grey suit and the groomsmen are wearing black suits (their own, not matching). The one groomswoman is wearing a black dress of her choosing. I'm not sure about the ties yet.

My bridesmaid dresses are wine.  All the groomsmen, dads, and ushers are doing black tuxes, ivory shirts (my dress is a darker ivory), and wine vest/ties.  FI is wearing kind of a champagne colored vest/tie with the ivory shirt.
