Bah! That is funny because it does look like her. And she is such a backseat driver. Though we have to watch ourselves lately because she mimicks everything. Are you all set up for the arrival of the babies?

I love that commercial:) I think we are ready... I know there is still a lot to do, like finishing their room, washing their clothes, cleaning... It will happen though. My mom is going to go to our house and really clean everything before the babies come home.

Jo, my next door neighbors have two little girls that look just like jo too.   Babbs, has your doctor made any predicitons about any NICU time for the girls or if they will be able to go right home?

Hehehe. I remember cleaning their clothes with the baby detergent and it made the entire room smell good. You're right. Everything will get done. I'll be more relaxed next time. I was so freaked. Hey don't forget to carry a pillow around those first 2 weeks after the section. Hug it when you need to sneeze, cough, or laugh. Really helped. Also don't be stupid like me and reject the drugs afterwards. Those were a godsend.

My mom and dad have been freaking awesome these past 6-7 weeks. They have been here every single night. My dad is going to shampoo the carpets while my mom scrubs everything. A is going to wash clothes this weekend.

I never thought about hugging a pillow, but I can see how that would have helped. Hopefully Babbs will have an easy c-section recovery.

Yes, if born this week she predicts 2 weeks on NICU and next week would be 1 week of NICU. I was told about the pillow thing. I know it helped my dad and bro after heart surgery. I am not stressing, it will get done. As long as I have diapers and BFing works I will be calm. I am excited I could be home soon. Damn I miss my house.

I ripped a stitch laughing. And another getting out of bed too quickly. It was awful. However, you could always use one of the babies since you'll always have an armful.

Why did no one tell me this pillow trick. I avoid all things that were semi funny for weeks because it hurt so bad. I just this week blew my noise for the first time.

I got off really easy on the recovery part, and laughing was the only thing that killed me. I wanted to kick my aunts out when they came to visit, they're too funny for first day home from the hospital.

So avoid funny... Check   1-2 weeks is awesome! agreed! I was very excited when she told me this. She said with the 2 rounds of steroid shots they should just be feeders and growers, if all goes well:)

If the hiccups in ute are any indication of their lung function we are golden. They get the hiccups about 5-7 times a day. I will miss feeling the hiccups when they are outside babies.

I remember thinking jo was having an inutero seizure. (No really I called my midwives) and my she told me hiccups were a good thing because they are a central nervous system reaction and indicated that things were working with the CNS. Hey the things you learn.

Ben hiccups at the exact same time of day as an outside baby as he did as an inside baby.
