MIAF, Milkduds, Sclams, anyone else. I'd like to have a GTG around here sometime. Maybe Indy? Bloomington? Cow pasture? I also enjoy Chicago, if anyone's up for that. Or you'ins could come to Fort Wayne. It's kinda fun. Not really.

Of course! Though it sounds like Chicago might work better for most people? I'm down with Chicago, I love that city, and it's only about 3 hours from here. Plus there's lot of things to do.

Wait--I'm really squirming-in-my-chair-excited about a possible trip to Chicago.  I've wanted to go forever and it was the biggest diappointment when I discovered that FI lived like 6 hours from there. 

Also, IN Knotties, I will definitely be in Bloomington sometime next spring/summer for graduation!

Oh, you must come then! It's a fantastic city. Out of all the major cities I've visited in the world, Chicago is probably at the top of my list.

Well it sounds like Chicago will work best. Any suggestions on dates? I think most of my weekends are free from now until Thanksgiving.

aww, I'm loving all of this Chicago love!

okay, I have until the 16th to make my work schedule, so I can try to make sure I'm off whatever weekend we choose, or can at least come out after work.

So far, I know Nov 6th I'm free, and I have scheduled myself off pretty much every weekend in Dec. for various things.

Well, fall is crazy busy for me and I'd have to fly, so I would have to wait until after the New Year.  But now I really want a Chicago trip, so I'm going to work on FI when he gets home . He's going to say, "Ummm, why do we suddenly need to take a trip to Chicago?"

I'm down for after the holidays too. I can definitely take off work if I know that far ahead. my job is nuts...we're already making our schedules through Jan. 8th!

And even though it's cold, Chicago in the winter can be tons of fun! all the Christmas lights, hot toddys and glog, ice skating in Millenium park...=)

Yes!!! i AM SUPER SERIOUS ABOUT CRASHING MY WEDDING!! If you guys decide on another date, as long as it isn't on Nov. 13th, I am in. And Rho, I am not ice skating.....I am not an outdoor person in Chicago in the winter. The wind is a betch!! LOL!!

Woo! I'm good for anytime. H has to work around the holidays and on some of the holidays, so I have lots of free time. Plus, if it's after the new year, I can take a Friday off. I can't take anymore days off this year . But Saturdays and Sundays are fine for me.
