If you go to account settings then "name", you can either add it as your middle name or add a "full alternate name." I think the alternate name puts it in parentheses.

You're right, it does.

I think the alternate name also allows people to search for you by that name, too. I've searched a few friends under maiden name and all of sudden it pops up with them, but a new last name. I was super confused.

Account Settings  - Name (there's a button that says change above it) then type in whatever name you want under First name and Last name

For example

First name: Kristi
Last name: Maiden Married

it displays as Kristi Maiden Married.
