Becoming a Mayor

I just joined Foursquare, and now I'm bound and determined to be the mayor somplace. H and I have started to get competitive about this. He is already the mayor of his workplace, which I think is a copout because he has to go there everyday anyway. Neither of us are mayors of our home because we don't want that information out there.

Is anyone a Mayor anyplace? I would like to become the mayor of my favorite sushi restaurant.

My boss and I have been battling over the mayorship of the building we work in. I lost it when I went away for 2 1/2 weeks for the wedding. It is hard to get it back.

I need a life.

That's a pretty awesome accomplishment. I'm trying to think of the more obscure places that I can have guaranteed mayorship. It's like boldly going where no man has gone before.

Every time I go to said bar (a craft beer place) I end up not sober. So maybe I really should be impressed that the guy I met was there enough to be the mayor.

I'm two check ins from becoming the mayor of a local bar/ restaurant. I don't check in everywhere though, like I don't check in to work or my apartment. Becoming mayor of my work would be interesting though since we have 21 floors and quite a few different businesses that share the same building I work in! I'm one of those annoying people who posts to facebook when ever I check in somewhere haha.

Not going to lie, most times, when someone says they're the mayor of something, I sing it to the tune of Captain of Her Heart inside my head.

Too long ago too far apart, she couldn't wait another day for, the Mayor of PetSmart.
