Morning. Normally today would be my Friday, but I'm working a few hours tomorrow morning so sadly I don't get to sleep in. But on the plus side, I get lots of OT hours.

My dad has his procedure today at 9, but it will take about 5 hours so I won't hear anything until this afternoon. He said he thinks they're just numbing the area. I can't imagine lying on a table for 5 hours with nothing to do while someone cuts out the back of my head. Maybe they'll have a TV or something.

I have a ton to do at work today trying to get this thing I'm working on finished before I have to switch and do something else until Thanksgiving.  No fun.

Yay for Pre-Friday!  I found out yesterday, without a doubt, that you can see in my office window from outside.  That makes all the times I pretended to pick my nose in front of the garbage men that much more funny

Good morning al! I've got a Dr.'s appointment at 10...here's hoping it goes well. FI has a long day at work, won't be home until late.  This week has already been long and rough- thank goodness its almost over.

Good Morning

I'm so glad it's finally Thursday, getting close to the weekend.  Work should be kind of an easy day for me and that = happy girl.   I've got wedding crap that I need to work on this weekend so it doesn't overflow into all of the holiday stuff that's coming up.

We have some drama going on right now at work. The department next to ours is being super loud, alraedy all hyped up on sugar from cake someone brought in. A guy the next row over just screamed out, "Trying to freaking work!" then the supervisor (of the other department) said to chill out, and a girl in my department told him to shut up. It's dead silent now.

Today's my Friday, so hopefully it'll go quickly.  I might ditch out at noon, too, to meet with our venue coordinator.  Other than that, not much going on today.  Tomorrow I've got a few appointments, and I'm getting my hair dyed finally.

Good Morning ladies! We went to bed early again last night. DH's final push at work before he leaves for their big automation show in Florida on Sunday.
Yesterday we spent arguing because his boss wants him to Germany in Nov, over the holiday. And he wants me to come with.
Well that would be fine and dandy if one, I had taken care of my Passport in a timely manner (expedited is still 2-3weeks). And no one is allowed to be off "Black Friday", so we would leave the Friday before (19th), fly back Thursday and come back to work Friday at 7:45am.

God I get exhausted just thinking about it. Plus it's my dream to go to Germany and sit in a hotel while DH works......not.

Ses: I hope your dads procedure goes well. I laughed at the fact that a girl from your dept told the supervisor to shut up. Did they offer your department cake? I would have went and helped myself, if not, but I'm a piggy like that.

Morning Les! Morning everyone else I got up and made myself eggs and toast, and took my time getting ready, so I was 20 minutes late this morning. OOPS. This weather is not conducive to productivity.

Sesh, I hope your dad's procedure goes okay, and isn't too uncomfortable for him. That just sounds unpleasant.

Steph, a little over a week left?!? How exciting. I'm jealous of your rsvp ticker, by the way. I am more than ready to not worry about that anymore. I'm supposed to mail my invites by Saturday, and for some reason it makes me so nervous!

Sesh, I hope everything goes well with Dad. My grandmother had the same thing done last summer.

I am beat. We are having a Halloween party tomorrow night. We did  all the food shopping yetserday, and & I were up late making desserts and cleaning. He qas to to work from 8-12 tonight, so I'll be prepping all the rest of the food and doing setup alone. I love having parties, but the prep is such a pain.
