I went home for a three-day weekend, and my mom and I got a LOT of stuff done! Here's everything I got to check off my list:
-Picked out tuxes
-Picked out flowers - LOVE my florist, known her since I was little and happy that she is back in the biz and is taking care of me. She's one of those ladies with a lot of vision and she would just finish describing things for me!
-Picked out some rental things for the ceremony - a collonade and candelabras - that are exactly what I was imagining, but I didn't know they were available so conveniently!
-Got a lot more stuff added to the registry - FI hates shopping, so mom stepped in to help
-Tied ribbons on bubbles... but mom said I need to buy some more, so I guess that's a half-check
-Made a garment bag for my dress
-Saw my step-grandmother, who offered to help financially with the reception!!! (SUCH an unexpected blessing!)
-Received my wrapping paper - I am lining my own envelopes, because the place I bought my invitations for didn't have any options besides Taupe for square lined envelopes
Now to get started on that!
Just had to brag about my super-productive weekend... hope yall's was great too
