Still a kid at heart

Reading about The Land Before Time and childhood memories has me wondering...

In our house, DH loves getting out his Legos and baseball cards every so often. I still have some of my favorite kids books like "Heidi" that I'll reread on occasion.

Do you have any books/movies/toys/etc that you loved as a child that you still pull out once in a while?

Bed knobs and broomsticks. I can remember watching it in the auditorium at my school when I was in kindergarten, and I still love it now!

I am a HUGE Snoopy fan and have so much Snoopy stuff in our house. DH has some of his MovieManiac toys and has his Masterpiece Transformers on display. Also, every year my mother buys me the Holiday Barbie. I have gotten them since they came out in 1988.

The Secret Garden. I loved that book when I was little, still do. Also, Bill Nye and the Magic School Bus. And now, me as a kid. I was pretty adorable.

I am a Disney nerd. I love seeing new Disney or Disney/Pixar movies when they come out and I still collect penguin stuffed animals. I still color in a coloring book from time to time. My FI has actually purchased some for me knowing I would (gotta love that).

When FI gets autographs from any Reds player, he turns into a small child. lol Of course, I love baseball too so I can't really say much. :)

Ooh yeah. Disney movies. And their soundtracks.

Yes..I know quite a few of their soundtracks. I'm like a human jukebox anyway, but moreso with Disney. First time FI watched Beauty and the Beast with me was an eyeopener for him. lol It's my favorite so I know every word of every song.

Secret Garden scared me for some reason. So did The Rescuers.

I am a Lego fanatic. Still to this day I will build Lego houses when I visit my parents.

I loved Barbies. I would build them four story houses in my mom's bookcases.

I LOVE Beauty and the Beast! It was amazing on Broadway. I am upset that I missed out on the Little Mermaid on Broadway.

This.  I spent most of the weekend helping my best friend pack for an upcoming move.  The combination of Disney movies and mimosas made it actually kind of fun.

We have a closet full of Legos and Nerf guns. A walk-in closet.

I don't have it anymore, but when my cousin and I were young, my grandparents got a new fridge. We used the box it came in to play Post Office. We only got rid of it because it fell apart.

Yes! Totally ditto. Me and my cousin and some other friends played Candyland about a year ago (with no children) and it was one of the best nights I can remember. We also like to play Loopin' Louie (and do so quite often for adults lol)

Oh, and when I was really little, I had a pink crochet blanket with tassels on it. My aunt was in fashion design school, so I would use the blanket and make dresses out of it. I would use the holes from the crochet and tie the blanket in odd ways. One time I just draped the blanket over my back (I had regular clothes on, too), and tied the tassels around my wrists and ankles, and thought I looked awesome.

I was about three or four when I did this.

    Cabbage patch, obviously.

Also, I'm a total Disney princess. Not a day goes by that I don't either listen to Disney music or watch one of the movies.

I still love Disney movies. Beauty & The Beast is my favorite. We have nerf guns. I watched The Rugrats the other day, it wasn't the same though. We play board games like 'Don't break the ice'. And are thinking of getting lincoln logs or legos to play with. Something fun to do with the tv out.

I'm at work, sometimes I type things I hear instead of what I'm thinking-opps. Sorry
