And did you know that your cake balls won me the Cupcake Wars contest in my office?  I won a $25 gift card to BB&B.  Of course, I made three batches of cake balls, so the ingredients cost more than that.  But my pride, it soared.

Last night, FMIL was trying to talk about salad dressing, but she couldn't pronounce it.  Apparently, she had ballsack vinaigrette on her salad.  I had to try really hard not to lose it.

You can also do any flavor of cake or frosting, but I've only ever done red velvet because, well.  I'm obsessed with red velvet.  I've made these dipped in milk chocolate, and also made them dipped in white chocolate with milk chocolate drizzle.  They taste phenomenal both ways.

I went to the mall yesterday to buy a new belly-button ring, and while there I asked if they sold the top ball parts separately because I lost all mine. The guy had a blast with that. "You lost your balls? We have some cheap ones, unless you want to upgrade and bring home some nicer balls and show them off to everyone."

I am not sure I could eat ballsack salad either. Balsamic maybe.

I have always wanted to try and make cake balls but I am afraid that I would love them so much that I would make them everyday.

They are very time consuming, it usually takes me a whole weekend to make them, lol.  I'll bake the cake and frosting on Friday and let them cool overnight, roll them into the balls on Saturday and then leave them in the freezer til Sunday, when I dip them.  They need to be frozen rock solid when you dip them, otherwise they fall apart.

Good luck!  I'd like to know how it goes :)
