Fresh.  I used freshrosepetals.com I think.  I thought about just going the day before though to the Kroger in Uptown--they have them in bulk and they're like $6.99 a bag.  But I decided I didn't want to mess with it and just ordered them online.  (Plus I wanted all white for the cake table and they only have the colored mix).  If you just want them for the toss, it's probably the cheapest way to go.

I would do fresh.  I know Bill got some for our wedding night.

I would do fresh. For rose petals I used in vases and on the aisle, we went to Costco and got a couple dozen bouquets for pretty cheap and just pulled them off the stems.

Thanks! The Costco option might actually be cheapest. Actually, we might have roses left over too. It is just so hard to know how many cups I need~

    This might help:

    http://www.petalgarden.com/petalcalc.htm

I can't remember how much I got -- 8-10 cups maybe?  I remember thinking I needed more and you're having twice the number of guests I did.  Just remember everyone might not stay until the end so adjust accordingly.  Also, guys aren't going to toss petals so just do 1 serving per couple.

ETA:  Ok, never mind that I think that thing tells you way too much.  I'll try and find my invoice or notes or something.
