Ugh, I had the same thing and I've still got the cough.  This time of year is the worst for my allergies!  Hope you feel better!

New complaint: I can't decide who to be angrier with -- my coworker who doesn't really know his content well enough to teach it/has zero faith in his students OR the administrative team that essentially forced him to give passing grades to failing students, thus crushing any confidence he may have had and turning him into a quivering mess.  Seriously, guy, we give hard tests and quizzes.  You can either bring your students up to your expectations, or you can be miserable for the rest of your career.  Choose.  And I feel really bad for being short with you, but you have got to step up or they never will.

My B&M is that my procrastinator habits are hitting me really hard right now, which is not good because I have to get my three 2000 word essays researched, written, and turned in by 8am Friday... so ready to graduate.

I also need to B&M about my FSIL: you have known for 2 months that FI's parents (and your younger sister) are going to be out of state for Thanksgiving, and that FI and I are likely doing Thanksgiving with my family. WHY then would you decide to have your son's (FI and I's godson/nephew) birthday party ON Thanksgiving in OKC?? His birthday is a week AFTER that. I understand that your DB husband doesn't care because his whole side of the family is going to be there, but that's kinda stupid, IMO.

I have been on Mucinex D since Thursday night. I lightened up on the dosage over the weekend cause it was making me loopy (like to the point that FI's parents called him after lunch Saturday to ask if things were okay between us since I just sat there acting stoned) and low and behold I got worse overnight. I think I may take a sick day at work to see if my doc can refer me to an ENT specialist.

Apparently allergies are going around right now..which is weird because i had my allergies really bad last week. 

FI had to go to the store last night to get some allergy meds because he was just dying yesterday once we got back

Mine were bad in our old apt from what I believe was mold. Seriously I walked in there this week to get something and it REEKED! Luckily we don't have anything important left there and just need to spend a day before end of October cleaning out the trash, so I don't have to spend too long in there suffering.

Now that we are north in the middle of nowhere, I'm pretty sure it's the hay that's setting me off.

I don't want to go buy a neti pot cause just looking at it in the allergy aisle scares the bejeebus out of me, but I am getting desperate. Waking up with this crap in my throat every morning is getting old.

Ragweed was really high last week but not so much this week.  My allergies were worse last week as well.

Wendi -- easy on the Mucinex D.  FI and I have avoided it after he had a seizure from taking it for 4 days with no past history of seizures.  It really freaked me out.   I think on the whole it is dehydrating so make sure you are taking in extra fluids.  Hope you feel better soon!

If you are looking for an ENT there is Dr. Bhatki or Dr. Weprin in Richardson.  I saw Dr. Mark Hardin in Dallas and he did my tonsillectomy and repaired my deviated septum.  He's a quiet guy but I liked him a lot -- gave us his personal cell number in case of complications and such.  For allergies I see Dr. Lumry in Dallas and really like him as well.  Not sure if this helps but just thought I'd throw it out there.  I've been dealing with allergy and sinus issues for what seems like forever...

ETA:  For the stuff in the back of your throat, Rescon is the only Rx that has worked for me.  Nasonex also works well if you can tolerate it.

I'm a TWC junkie and they were saying the other day that Fall allergies are worse than Spring and typically last longer. I know..something you didn't want to hear.

I haven't been able to sleep the past several nights because my d-bag roommate is a smoker and I have to sleep in the living room on my air mattress. He's been getting up in the middle of the night to smoke cigs outside and then when he walks by me, it's like he has a lit cig. It stinks soo bad and irritates the hell out of my ENT & eyes. UGH. I sent him an article on secondhand smokes cause he passes me off like it's not a big deal....

I need a job.....in Texas....soon....

Oh believe me, Ed's got me drinking a bottle of water every 2 hours minimum. The stuff in my throat goes away as soon as I yack it out each morning. It's just from whatever collected overnight.

How do they expect other kids to come if they book the day before?! If I were a mother and little Johnny was having a party tomorrow that we just found out about today, I wouldn't be too pleased with little Johnny's mommy. I would actually think that my kid was a 'B' list friend to be invited at the last minute to be a seat filler and my adorable child would not be attending. I'm sure we have a soccer game or something.

I obviously don't wait till the day before... but for me, Cadence was born January 10th.  I have to start thinking and planning NOW, or her birthday will be upon me after Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years... and I realize I haven't planned a thing.  Not that its an excuse to not plan, but that's the only thing I could come up with!

Oh I can't even tell you how many people we get calling on a Thursday or Friday for a specific time on that Saturday, who have already sent out invites without confirming availability or price then B&M trying to squeeze in at the last minute for a discounted rate.

I have a WHOOLE LOTTTTTT to B&M about today! Like a BAHZILLON THINGS!

First- Walmart please read your own coupon policy. Don't get all pissy when you realize that you owe me money after the transaction and then tell me how to use my coupons. I'm just good at what I do.

Second-Today was the final straw.

Third- I bought a headboard last week. I got an amazing deal!  $20 bucks amazing Then today while thrifting, I found the most amazing bed. It looked like it came straight from pottery barn. My heart instantly melted. It was stunning and I fell in love hard. I knew I couldn't justify buying it with Matt. Boys don't understand style or design.

Four- I have a bad sunburn. My eyeballs burn. I'm just thankful I wasn't wearing heart or star sunglasses. That would have been fun!

Five- I hate nothing fights. They do not serve any purpose.
