Local Boards

To the three nearest local boards to me,

YOU SUCK! No one ever posts on you and you are basically dead. Especially to me. LA, OC, and IE brides, step it up. 

SB, you complete my online life.

Mine is really dead too. Plus I'm no help to any of them. I know nothing about my city, apparently. I'v never heard of any of the places they ask about.

Yea mine sucks too. There are maybe two posts a week, and they are generally north alabama.

My local mod is just NMS. She tries too hard.

My local sucked ass.  They were extremely unhelpful and snooty when I was planning.  I mentioned that I was considering using my reception venue they all shiit on it real hard.  They were saying it was ugly, the food was cold, there was no lighting, it was uber expensive.  Well I went and looked at it anyway, and it was the nicest venue in my area that I could get for a reasonable price.  I think they liked to just spout off without knowing about anything they were talking about.

All three of mine (since there is not one for where I live) are a day or more old and usually with no posted responses. Which blows because a knottie GTG of girls from LA, OC and IE would be AWESOME!

My two locals are boring as all crap too, and (I don't know why. In all the time I have been on here, I don't think there has been a speck of any kind of drama, and everyone just asks the same questions over and over.

Ryoung- I am on your local, well I guess not really on which I why I came over to SB and other international boards. They just had a GTG this pass Saturday. Mery is also on our local as well.

Theres a cleveland board and a northeast ohio board (i have no idea why) and they're both worthless. There's a lot of vendors who post on both boards and a lot of people who advertise that you should use this or that vendor so that they get a discount on a referral program. I don't even think the northeast ohio board has a mod anymore.

I didn't go but some of the married knotties are doing a TTD together and they did a mini GTG to to kind of plan it but some girls not doing it went as well to meet new knotties. I have yet to go to one mostly because they have them on days I can't go.

The Boston board was awesome and now it is lame. We used to know every one, do polls, superlatives, and have g2gs. Now it is nothing but venue/vendor recs. It IS helpful to people planning, but there is no sense of community anymore.

The CT is pretty cool even if it is complete puppies and rainbows.

The Cape Cod board is, and always has been, deader than a doornail.
