I started this early because I can't sleep. So I decided to research online and figure out how to get to Hawaii for one of my good friend's wedding that's next month. I've been trying to get tickets forever, but with our wedding in just 4.5 months (UMM where did the time go?! I'm not ready!) I couldn't bring myself to spend $600+ to go.
Well, I got approved for a American Airlines credit card tonight that will give me enough free miles along with the miles I've accumulated over the years so that I'll only have to pay about $150! I'm so excited!! It definitely made my day 1000X better!

I also found homes for 2 of my fosters!! It was really hard to give away one of them today, I even ended up crying as I was leaving. That's so silly, but she wiggled her way into my heart! Luckily, she's going to a great, nice home with an older couple who lost their little doggie awhile ago, so I have a feeling she's going to be spoiled. I just need to keep reminding myself of that.
My other foster got adopted by a WONDERFUL fellow Knottie/Nestie & her husband (don't know if she wants me to announce it here) so I know she'll be treated right! I'm so happy for my doggies!

Thanks for reading all of that, hopefully I can go to bed soon.

ETA: Daniel's mom has been hassling his brother for the name of his guest, because we don't want him bringing his flavor of the week to the wedding. So he gave her an absurd name and I'm totally going to address his envelope the way he asked:

I only have that I have a hair and make up trail this Saturday!! Hopefully these people work out becuase I'm so tired of dealing with this.

Congratulations on all your achievements this week, ladies!  I'm getting to go to the Dominican Republic with my MOH and her sister at the end of July/beginning of August.

I, too, would love to go to a destination wedding.  We think that my BIL will have one if he ever marries.

Nothing much except there are 8 teaching days left in the year and then finals and then summer!

And I have a makeup trial scheduled for the day after school lets out.  Y'all got me really scared about not having anyone booked this late in my planning -- everyone I contacted was available!  Yay!

And I may have some others to AW but I'll have to wait for confirmation from FI.

I guess I technically went to one. My cousin in Chicago got married in India. Granted, it's where we are from but it was a ton of fun! We helped out as "ushers" and I would have had pictures if I didn't lose my camera on the way back. It was a great experience and I wouldn't have wanted to miss it for the world.

My AWs:

-Cleaned out my entire kitchen - and put away all my shower and early wedding presents (between Monday & last night) - VERY exciting! (and refreshing)
-Working on DIY stuff this evening/afternoon with my mom
-26 DAYS TIL MY CEREMONY IN VEGAS & 30 DAYS TIL MY RECEPTION IN DALLAS!  eek!

By the way - Julie - I am TOTALLY jealous about your upcoming vacation - I want to go to the Dominican Republic SO BAD!  I've heard it's amazing (became obsessed with going when I worked in the cigar industry - for about 6 years).
FI isn't really into beaches - but we'll get there eventually.

I am so not a lazy vacation person.  We always went sight seeing or visiting national parks, etc so this will be completely new for me.  Two weeks before though, I'll be walking all over Disney World so I may need it!

My Dad worked it out with her.  She has a deadline of this Saturday.  We are supposed to be tasting and looking at the place.  If it's not done, she has to pay for another place (we told her where), but still cook there.  She agreed so we'll find out on Saturday.  Either way, we have a place and food.

Yay for all the AW's!!

Mine is my hair trial is next Tuesday morning before my bridals!! (crosses fingers in hopes of NO RAIN!) 
 
I get my bouquet for my bridals on Monday too!! So excited to get a "mini" version of my bouquet!!

FI, myself, and my dad are all going to our first appointment with our wedding coordinator Monday morning! So glad we finally get to meet her!

We were a month out yesterday, and I'm doing the church and reception venue walkthrough today with my DOC. I think just the thought of that is what is making my stomach churn.
I also took my FMIL dress shopping yesterday. It was not a pleasant outing, but at least she will be properly attired for the wedding. The highlight of the day was her announcement to me that she was wearing a bra. Congratulations, welcome to life.
Awww, and on a sweet note, J invited over one of our dear old friends over for dinner tonight. She is an older lady that we both worked with when we first met--she is the reason he asked me out--and the reason for all this hoopla to begin with. He thought it would be nice to share our excitement leading up to the day with her (even though she'll totally be at the wedding) since she is the reason for it all in the first place. I love that man (and Mama T)!

1) Got a coupon code for a free shutterfly photo book, so we are getting a guest book!
2) INVITATION SEARCH IS OVER.  We have had a designer for about a month now (that was a nightmare).  Now we've finally decided on a design!  Yaaaaaay!
