Just something I think is crazy. a little long

I know it is not my place to judge but here I go

My fiance's cousin and his GF keep on saying that they will be married by the end of the year and they aren't engaged yet. Well she complained to me once that he didn't want to go ring shopping with her and if he didn't ask her by X date they wouldn't be able to be married by X date. she said 'I told my mom and she keeps asking me when he is going to ask because she knows i want to get married by X date.' (He told her he wanted to get married, but didn't start saving until months later and she was mad. and she told EVERYONE that they were getting married soon)

Fast forward to now.

Well they ordered the ring.

Fiance lives with them and when GF and him were alone she said 'has he said anything to you because if he does not buy the ring by Friday they are going to send it back and he hasn't even ask my dad yet.'

From the outside it seems like she is putting so much pressure on him. She told me that she did not want to wait until next year because she wanted a certain day because both their bithdays are the 13th. I asked her what is the rush and why not enjoy being engaged?

She is starting to act a little crazy. Desperate even.

27. most of her friends are married and have kids so I don't know if she is trying to catch up.

Wow, that does sound weird! I can understand wanting a certain date but maybe her bf just isn't ready, and there's nothing wrong with that.

He has been married before and the girl cheated on him.

At this point I feel like he could just throw the ring at her and say 'here start doing whatever' It's like it has lost's it's magic

I told her that you didn't need a ring.

nuttier than a jar of planters...the cousin probably didn't buy the ring or ask her dad cause he either doesn't want to marry pushy-pants or he's waiting til after said date so they'll have more time to plan. I'm guessing its the first one. I would run from this girl...run like the wind!

she going nuts-o crazy-o. for all she knows he has already talked to dad and bought the ring but is trying to be hush-hush about it so she will be surprised. she needs to lay off.
