Snarky Brides

The decision has been made......

The doctor decided to go for surgery. Since I will be going to Kentucky to visit my parents over Christmas break. I will more then likely only get the first appointment after the new year. Then go from there to see when I'd actually have the surgery.

I am nervous but excited at the same time in hopes this will work in due time. I want my life back to be able to do things I can't bare to do now.

Not trying to be an AW, just wanted to update a few that know what I've been going through with my back, and chronic pain.

To make it not all about me, tell me some of your plans for the weekend?

    Good luck!

Edit- oops, missed the weekend part. :P I am taking a friend to Chili's for her birthday tonight. Tomorrow I have an open barn to attend in the am. After that is my church ladies bridal shower, and tomorrow evening is FI's cousin's bridal shower. Sunday will be spent getting caught up around the house, and church in the A.M.
  • Well I certainly hope it turns out to be a wonderful cure for you.  No one should have to live in pain.

My weekend is going to suck since I will be scrubbing the house from top to bottom in preparation for Thanksgiving guests.  Nothing is filthy, but it all could use a good buff and polish.
  • Oooh!  Will be thinking of you, and I hope it goes well.  It must feel great to see the light at the end of the tunnel!

I'm getting my hairs cut and my eye-lashes tinted tomorrow at the Aveda Institute, and there's a Trader Joes down the street so we're probably going to do a little shopping while we're in the Big City, too.  The rest of the weekend will probably be spent putting off Christmas shopping.

  • Aw, sorry to hear you're still in pain.  I hope the surgery is the solution for you!

    Thank you ladies.....

married- That sounds fun. I'm going shopping on Black Friday for the first time in like 9 yrs. I was about 18, and i spent $500 on my niece and nephew. They had an awesome Christmas that year. I am sad that I can't do that this year but they definitely got great things early but for Christmas.  And I got my hair cut recently too.. How short are you going? or just a trim?

anna- Cleaning is fun when you have a great reason to do it other then just to do it to have it done. I hope you have somewhat of a good weekend in the mits of cleaning. Have a glass of wine or something along the way.

I too hope and pray that this is the solution, it's been 2 yrs too long.
    I'm 26 and feel like I'm 86. :(

edit- Stacey- You have a very busy but fun weekend ahead of you. Sounds great. Hope you have a great weekend :)

  • Just a trim for me!

Black Friday isn't supposed to be as bad this year I guess because so many places did their sales early.  I used to love it, but I got really annoyed last year so I think I'm done.  I used to be all Buddy Elf and try to be super-cheerful since 70% of the rest of the shoppers were cranky and mean.  You can be Buddy Elf this year.

Sure, I'll be Buddy Elf since I'm not buying anything at all. Just taking a few $ for food. I go with my best friend and her family, they leave at midnight and shop all night into the day time. It was a lot of fun as a teenager. I love her family so I know I'll enjoy it.
A trim is nice :). I just been on a rebellious rage since everything happened and he loved long hair so I been just going shorter and shorter. But I really like this last hair cut so I may stick with this for a little while and keep it "trimmed".

And I didn't tell about my weekend. It will be containing a lot of homework since it's 2 weeks left then the 3rd week are finals so it's very hectic and stressful.
