State your worries & gratefulness

This isn't like a fear, but something that happens all the time.

I'll go first, I worry about finances since DH wants to change careers so late in the game.  He's not a handy person, so I take care of the house, missing roof tile, filling in holes on the side of the house (darn AZ woodpecker), bugs, car problems etc.

ETA: State a positive thing going for you - what you are grateful for!

I'm grateful for a smile every day, and a chance to share that joy with my DH.

Now you go.

I worry that I'll never be truly great at anything I try, only good at it, so I'll never do as well in my chosen career path as I hope.

I also worry that taking time off to have kids will halt my career permanently because technology changes so quickly and I'll be behind the times when I go back to work.

I worry that it will be awhile until I find a job, I don't want to deplete our savings anymore than we already have. I worry about that all day long it seems.

    Missed the ETA: Positive Comment..

I'm so thankful everyday for my husband, for the fact that we have any savings with which to live on, for the roof over our heads, for the food on the table, for the fact that DH is doing really well in school, for the new friends we've already made, for our baby doggy Howie... There are a lot of positive things in our life, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant. I just worry a lot about the finances right now.

My biggest worry is about my son right now. He has no direction, no job, no money. But he refuses to do the things it takes to accomplsh these things. I worry his temper is going to get him in trouble.

And at 20 Momma cant fix things anymore.

My positive.....how supportive and wonderful, and understanding my DH is, I thank god for him every day! He has offered to pay for my son to go to college, if he comes and lives with us, he doesnt have to do that. He's the best.

I know our relationship will change when we're no longer long distance; sometimes, I worry that it will change for the worse.

On the flip side, I'm grateful that summer is almost over.  It was actually in the 70's as I drove into work this morning!

Oh, I'm grateful for my wonderful son. He's the light of my life and I don't know how I would have been able to deal with the break up with exFI without him. He just brings so much happiness and joy with him where ever he goes. I love him SO much.

So glad to hear it Kate. I know where you are, I've been there.

So use it as incentive, you are a good Mom.

I worry about money all the time. Paying bills, buying groceries, going broke. But along those lines, I'm grateful I have a full-time job with benefits.

I worry about something bad happening to H since his job can be dangerous. Everyday I'm grateful that I have him, he's made me want to live again and makes me laugh every day.

I worry about our house. The wiring is old, shiit constantly breaks, it's only a matter of time before the entire place comes crashing down. And I worry we'll never be able to afford our own place. But, I'm grateful to have a roof over our heads, and landlords who understand if we need a few extra days on rent.

I worry right now my book will be a huge flop and I'll have spent all that money for nothing. I have zero confidence in myself. But, I try to be grateful for the fact that I'm getting it out there and taking the next step.

I worry that I'm leaving my old family behind. I'm grateful that we are all well and healthy.

I worry about money all the time.  Even though DH and I both have good, stable jobs with good benefits, I worry about future healthcare costs, and whether or not we can ever get these damn teenagers out of the house and on their own two feet.  We're being bled dry with insurance, college, and living expenses for everyone (including DH's extraordinarily greedy exwife).  I feel like we're barely keeping our heads above water.  I also worry that we will never be able to sell my house and move where we want to be.

I am grateful, however, for good health, good jobs, a good place to live, and friends and family who really care about us.  And I am grateful for an eternally patient DH who always reassures me that things will work out fine.

This.  I have a great job now as a computer scientist for the government but I have always wanted to be a stay at home mom.   But I don't know if that will be possible financially, and if I do quit for some time, how I'd ever get back.

I am grateful for my family and FIL who are so supportive of my FI and I for getting married right out of college.   Both sides want the best for us and are willing to do a whole lot to help us out.  It's so cute to see my dad getting into searching for venues and my FFIL getting excited about looking at houses for sale. :)
