Snarky Brides

Night thread? I'm so aloooone.

Just got this e-mail from TN that's cracking me up. The really funny thing is, when you click on the link, it takes you to "6 places to go before you have kids". What're you guys up to?

  • I just got the toodlebug to bed and had some peanut butter and now I'm firing up the work computer to get some stuff done with no one bothering me. DH went out for drinks with his BFF.

I'm really thrilling tonight. I just commented to H that my eyebrows feel funny and it makes me sad that he has perfect eyebrows, even without grooming.

<div>Guys are jerks like that. H has perfect eyelashes. I want to put mascara on him and pretend that they're mine. This also reminds me that I need to get my eyebrows done again.</div>
  • I'm trying to figure out what to eat. My tummy is growling, but the only thing that sounds good is chocolate cream pie. Not very healthy for dinner. ;)

Hi! We just back from the bar a few blocks away. On Wednesdays they have 1/2 off burgers, and they are delicious! H is also celebrating that he turned in his final, so he's done with the most boring class ever.

  • Hi :)

I'm at work for another hour or so, and then I'm heading home.  I've been sans cell phone for over a month and it's KILLING me.  I should have one in the next couple of days, though, so YAY for that!

<div>I could easily live without a cell phone. The only person I ever call or text is H, and he's the only one who ever calls or texts me. And we work for the same company, so I can just e-mail him through most of the day, and then we're together all night. No point, lol.</div>

I made chicken for the LO and for salad tomorrow, but I didn't feel like eating it. We went out to lunch as an office today and I had 2 chicken fajita tacos, guac, chips, queso, and mexican street corn. I am still kinda stuffed, but I contemplated stopping by the location near my house to get more corn. That ish was amazing.

  • Actually, their birthday was on SUN, but they are 1!  Holy crap.  Tristan took his first steps (towards the TV) today.

Any, the problem is that my phone is also my facebook, my email, my calendar, my calculator, my camera, etc.  I've been so lost, but I couldn't afford to replace it.

Omg. We just got back from dinner with the ILs. FIL doesn't get to drive anymore when I'm in the car. He pulled out in front of a car and we were inches from getting smashed. MIL reamed him a new one and H was laughing hysterically, which he does when he's nervous.
  • Hi Sarah!  I miss you all.  Sparky is getting so big!

Hi Tide! The little ones always brighten my day when you post!

I only use my phone to call H and text my mom. All other communication is done over FB now.

  • Mmm, yum Sarah. And yeah Tide, I have a feeling once I get an iPhone, it'll be a different story =P
  • I got my hair trimmed today so I'm feeling all pretty. I hate to go to bed and mess it up. I really need to start getting it done in the morning so I can enjoy it longer.

We basically decided on a hairstyle for the wedding so now I'm looking at headbands on Etsy. Someone recommended one to lbarr a while back and of course I have no idea where they were from. I wish the TK search function didn't suck so badly.

I just finished working out. I didnt do cardio cause my frigging ipod was dead, so I just did more lower body weights than I normally would and im fucking dying. I had trouble walking up the stairs. I used some new ones I found on imuscle and I think its going to work for me. I want to section it apart to legs1 legs2, cause I have too many in one category.

    my life is super exciting.

<div>Hello all! I'm wasting time while FI is at class. I'm procrastinating writing thank you cards and grading.</div><div>
</div><div>Celtic, I got an awesome headband when I got my dress. Now I figured out how I want to do my hair, and I don't think a headband will work with it. Now I'm mad that I bought it right away instead of waiting like I usually do. I'm the opposite of an impulse buyer, and the one time I'm not, it bites me in the butt.</div>

  • I'm here. It's 8:30 and I'm fighting off sleep already. I would just give up and go to bed, but it's still semi-light outside! That just seems wrong.

I bought a whole set of free weights off a friend of mine, I have from 8lb up to 40lbs. Im considering buying a his bar and disks but I really dont have the room. I make due with the dumbells. I had a gym membership but they were always screwing up my payments (taking them out on the wrong day, nsfing my bank account because of it, sometimes taking two payments in a weeks time, etc etc. Surprisingly enough theyve gone out of business!
  • H has a set of adjustable weights, I think he could probably go up to 50lbs for each. He has a bar for them too, but there's no room at all in the apartment for him to use it. I feel bad for him. And for me.  Because I like to watch.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Night thread? I'm so aloooone. : Hmm funny that.  That's good to know about the free weights.  I'll definitely look into how much they'll be here.  The complex I live in has a gym too, but it's pretty pricey as it's charged per use, and I'd much rather not exercise in front of other people, as I feel like such a wuss because I can only do so much with my upper body thanks to a shoulder injury.

Is weight lifting very prevelant over there? Do they have a craigslist equivilent?
