FI is the same way. He has night terrors / nightmares everynight. I wake up to him screaming all the time.

And, umm. He smokes and drinks. A lot.
  • I pet the dog - she's always waiting at the door and it makes me smile how happy she is to see me.  I snuggle the kitty boys for a few minutes.  Then it's sweats or pajamas and a glass of wine or a Mike's harder lemonade (bigger can; higher alcohol % than regular Mikes).  Then DH and I usually hang out in our room - perusing the web on our laptops, or reading, or chatting.  If it's warm, we'll go out on the deck; if it's cold he will make a fire.  Sometimes I'll sew or work on some crafty stuff.  We rarely go out on weeknights, except to a class at the gym sometimes.

  • I have started doing yoga, but my favorite part is at the end when the chick does the body part relaxation rollcall. It's just really soothing. I wish the class was just all laying on my back and doing that.

Do you like to color? There is something super peaceful about being in charge of what colors you put where and staying in the lines.

I do this in bed before I try to sleep.  Otherwise I wake up wound up tighter than a brand new bedspring and in pain.

I love to color.  I used to have a coloring book and crayons but I think they got tossed the last time we moved.  I should get some more.

Well I don't think it's annoying, and you KNOW I'd tell you if I did.

I haven't noticed you posting any more than anyone else here. Fuuck, someone has to post.

[QUOTE]I take a hot shower, throw jammies on, turn on bad reality TV, or go TK.  Sometimes it's easier for me to de-stress by myself so I don't have to talk to anyone about what is stressing me out.  That just gets me all fired up about it again.

That's the socond time today someone has said that about something I've posted.

I don't know what I'm doing. Works for me.
  • Now, when I see your posts I open my eyes really wide, smile maniacally, and slowly tilt my head to the side.  I'm killing myself over here.

    it's a good thing I don't really drink.  I don't need it.

  • I drink.......

    Okay not everyday.

I typically go home and lay around with the dogs.  Simply playing with them, cuddling them, etc. helps some stress go away.  If I'm lucky enough to have FI home with me at the same time we'll curl up and watch a movie or some shows together.

Um possibly TMI but sex is one of the best destressors for me personally.
