Gifts for Bachelor/Bachelorette hosts?

Hey ladies...

I think I likely should have asked this before tonight but oh well.

We have our partees tomorrow and I am suddenly wondering if we are supposed to give our MOH and Best Woman gifts...I think that all the people going are splitting the costs associated with the events but should we be getting the two people who organized the events something? Or is that pretty much what the gift we are giving them at RD is for.

My MOH and her mom hosted one of my showers so I got them each a $65 pedicure gift certificate. And we have already bought both of them fairly expensive gifts for being in the WP. I guess I am just wondering if I should run out and get a couple of gift cards tomorrow morning?

  • Penises. All kinds. Candy ones, rubber ones, penis jewelry, photos of phallic objects.

You CAN'T go wrong.  But if that's just not possible, gift cards are always nice.

  • Penises? I figure if I get them a gift it should be something they can actually use...

    Well actually...

No I was really just being silly. I think gift cards are a nice touch especially since you already bought them other gifts. Unless you know of something specific that they'd like. When FI was in his cousin's wedding a few years ago, the groom ended up buying each of his GM's matted artwork (illustrations/photos) that reminded him of each GM. Maybe something like that would be nice? I don't know how much he spent on them, but I don't think they were more than $30 a piece.
