Personalized vows

FH and I have decided to write our own vows. I have no problem with this because I am a writer by nature. The problem is I have been writing mine for over a month and I can't decide what I want to say!! I get something on paper, and think that it is great and then I come up with something else. UGH!! I am so frustrated with this.

For those of you who wrote your own vows, how did you know that what you had was "good enough"?

I think that if you try and plan each and every word that much it's going to come out sounding really fake in the end. Follow musica's advice.

Holy crap Poli those are some beautiful vows.

But those vows are the very reason I refuse to write my own.  I couldn't say any of that without crying my eyes out!  Props to you!

Lol, Benjamin. I want to write my own vows, and I accept the fact that I will cry through all of it. My FI was iffy about writing his own vows for this exact reason, but once he realized how much I wanted us to say our own he changed his mind. I get teary just thinking about what I will say, and I have ten months to go until the wedding!
