I'm up entirely too early for a Saturday, but oh well.  I think I might actually try reading the Book Club book.  I just didn't have time until now.  I'm excited to start reading again  Jeremy and I are going to putz around and do some errands today, I think. He has to work for a few hours, which sucks, but then we'll go return a few things (KitchenAid Mixer from W-S) and buy some new things (Kitchenaid Mixer from Target... $50 cheaper!)  

I'm still waiting on a few addresses for TY cards.  I thought I was done tracking down addresses by now. But, it will make the Christmas Card thing a whole lot easier at least.

What's everyone else up to? Is anyone else even awake this early with me?

Good Morning, Steph.  And everyone.
I'm up early too.  Couldn't sleep anymore, so I just got up.  I'm going to spin class at 8, then yard work and a hike.  First day of vacation, so I've got to make a plan for the week.
I want a KitchenAid mixer so bad, but can't get one until we move. boo.

Hi! I love those days where you don't have a ton to do and you can just shop and run errands. What book are you going to read?

Right now, I should be studying. I'm doing some laundry. Just fed Ben the breakfast of champions and will be heading to Tae Kwan Do later this morning. Matt has to work for a few hours today too, so Ben and I are going to go to the Wake Forest / Clemson football game this afternoon. Wake is going to get their asses handed to them AGAIN, but it will be nice to get out of the house.

You are far more motivated than me, Les.  We need to find a gym to join now that it's cold out again.  But I like working out right in the morning (like 5am), so I pretty much need a 24 hour gym.  

I shouldn't get a Kitchenaid mixer yet either, but it's the one thing Ireallyreallywanted from the registry, so I'm doing it.  We have a coupon and some gift cards left, so I don't feel awful about the price either.

Cew- I love that Ben's in TKD.  Jeremy has always been really into martial arts (his dream is to retire early and open a studio/gym and teach kids in the inner city.)  His little brother (who's 8) is also in TKD and I love watching his 'practices'.  I love the discipline/respect it teaches them as well.

SB decided to do a psuedo- Book Club with Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.  I think we're all meeting back on December 11th? 10th? crap. I forgot.  It's a book I've been meaning to read anyway, so hopefully this will keep me on track.

I love the discipline part of it too. His teachers are amazing.

How did I miss the SB book club? That's awesome. What a cool idea.

I think the discussion is scheduled for Friday the 10th.  I just started the book - I had to finish the Hunger Games trilogy first.  It's a little slow at the beginning; I hope it picks up soon.  I'll probably finish it on our road trip for TGiving.

Cew- join in! I picked up my copy at Half Price Books for $4. If you have an e-reader at all, I *think* the pdf of the book is floating around as well.

Les- how'd you like the Hunger Games? I couldn't put them down once I started, but I was disappointed in the ending to be honest.

I loved the series, but I thought the ending was a little bit of a letdown too.  That's not who I wanted Katniss to end up with.  Or be with throughout the entire trilogy.

Yes, definitely.  But I enjoyed the books very much.  I'm not sure about making it a movie, though.

I would love to, but with all of the Christmas and Birthday stuff going on and the fact that I'm sitting for the SPHR on December 13th, I don't think my brain will be able to process any more info. I'll just live through you ladies.

Morning!  H and I are going to the Christmas parade today as soon as he gets ready.  He's currently fighting with the coffee maker.  Then to the farmer's market and then nothing for the rest of the afternoon.  It's going to be wonderful.

Good morning everyone. J has to work today and he and my mom both figured it would be a good idea to call and see if I was up yet. So now I'm up. The dogs are still asleep so I havent crawled out of bed yet.  

I think me and mom might go get some Christmas shopping done. I havent bought the first present yet.

Good morning!  I got a rather nice night of sleep for once.  We've been up for a bit.  Derek's off to help his buddy Tim (his BFF/BM) pickup a load of laminate flooring for Tim's house and I'm off to the gym soon.

This weekend should be just hanging out around the house getting random things done, like filling, sanding and painting trim. 

The first bit of Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is weird, and sort of confusing, but then it gets way better.  I've got the PDF if anyone wants it!

Welcome to day one of the Thanksgiving countdown chaos!  I have to go shopping for all the items I'm missing from the shopping list and then get started baking.

Steph - the book has been great so far. Just get through the first 30 or so pages, and it really picks up.

I just put chicken curry in the crock pot. We have to hit the bank to combine our accounts, then home for the rest of the weekend. We got Sims 3 yesterday for the Wii and want to play with that some more.

Sounds fun Anna.  All I have this week is I think to make 2 broccoli casseroles.  One for H to take Wednesday night for T-day with the mountain bike crew, and one for Thursday whether it's at MIL's or H's aunt's house... Less than a week and we don't even know where we're eating.  Maybe I'll stay home .

Steph, I was thinking the same about Christmas cards. I won't be sending them this year, but at least I will have a nice Excel file ready to go for next year
Also, I registered for a KA mixer, but T's mom has her grandmother's that she said I can have. I just might accept it. I think it'd be kinda neat to be able to have a heirloom mixer. haha That tells you how long those things last.

Les, a hike sounds awesome today. I LOVE Colorado. What is the weather like for you guys right now?

Pirate, a Christmas parade sounds so fun! I haven't been to one since highschool I think.

This morning I have to go to the post office, then try to figure out what to wear for my shower this afternoon.  Going w/ T to his aunt and uncle's open barn, then my shower, then T's cousin's shower. Busy day!

Good Morning ladies.

I was up earlier to feed the animals and let the dog out. Tried to go back to sleep but the animals had another idea. They are both brats. I have to be at work at 1 today and wont be home till late tonight so I was trying to rest a bit longer.

So I called DH, he is doing a little shopping right now to bring home trinkets to give at Christmas.
