Is anyone else getting spammed with random messages and friend requests on goodreads?  As in like e-mail addresses from France, London, etc. that are clearly spam becuase they say things like "My Dearest Shay, I hope to be great friends with you and your family!"    I've gotten three in the last hour.  I changed my password because I'm paranoid but it's just weird.

No Shay the last update I got was from actual people.

Good idea changing your password. I went through that with one of my e-mail accounts, it would send randon e-maills to everyone in my box.

Is there a contact at Goodreads?

I don't know I'll have to see about a contact.  I just bock them as I get them.  I'm super paranoid now because I was getting "texts" sent to my e-mail address yesterday from some random number.  I blocked them but they just kept coming through (as in like 50+ texts). It's just weird.

And maybe adjust your privacy settings?

Weird. No, I got an update today from people on my friends list, but that's it. About a month ago I had 2 guys try to add me as a friend, which was weird because I didn't even know them, so I just blocked them.

No I haven't gotten anything like that. The last email I got was confirmation of KD and I becoming friends. I agree with PP about checking your privacy settings and spamming all weird emails you get.
