 1. Drink that reminds you of Christmas time?   Hot chocolate.  I don't do much booze around Xmas.

 2. Food that reminds you of the holidays? Green bean casserole.  OR I do make candy every year for neighbors, so I like my candy time.

3. Describe your stocking. I have two now - one with FI at home and my parents have the same one I've used since I was three.  It has an old-fashioned doll on it.  The new one is velvety and either white or blue.  We bought them on clearance last year, so I don't remember.

4. Favorite present as a child? Dollhouse that my grandpa made and my grandma decorated the inside of (wallpaper, furniture, the whole deal)

5. Random: favorite color (s).  Pink!

3. Describe your stocking. Emerald green with white cuff and my name is green on it.  My stocking at my parents house has dolls on it and matches my sister's

4. Favorite present as a child? I loved angels as a kid and kept the special ones

  - Pumpkin spice Lattes from SB are the early warning for the coming holiday seasons, spiced cider is the lead-up, but Hot chocolate IS the holidays.

 - red and green velvet with my first initial on it in swarovski crystal.

1. Drink that reminds you of Christmas time? Hot chocolate with cocoa chili powder (I think that's what that stuff is called)

2. Food that reminds you of the holidays? stuffing with oysters. 

3. Describe your stocking. It's a croched stocking that my aunt made me when I was little, it was always the biggest one I had, so I always picked that one to use

4. Favorite present as a child? I got a lot of books for Christmas presents.

1. Drink that reminds you of Christmas time? My dad always mixed cranberry and orange juice for Christmas breakfast, it's engrained in my head and I must have it every Christmas. Also, hot chocolate.
2. Food that reminds you of the holidays?Honey-baked ham and those cheese balls with nuts on them.
3. Describe your stocking.Super long and skinny and hand-knit with a santa head on a chimney.

hahaha awwww. Yeah I kept everything and when I moved a bunch of stuff out of my parent's house I showed Mike every piece I had for her. I can't wait to pass it on. My bff had Samantha and we spent hours playing everyhting from schoolhouse to Oregon trail with those dolls.

My sister had the action figure type dolls.  My GI Joes use to kidnap them as POWs.  She'd come home and find them all tied and hanging from her canopy bed.  i was a twisted little girl.

My mom had an old friend of hers make me and my sister some mine is red with basic Christmas decor on it. I will be getting a new on since FI and I will be spending Christmas together
4. Favorite present as a child?
Trip to Disneyland. I had never been there and we were supposed to go as a family since my dad and been really sick and couldn't do much.

Sparkling apple cider or hot cocoa with a candy cane in it.

2. Food that reminds you of the holidays?

My mom's yams. She makes them the best, with lots of butter and nutmeg and crispy marshmallows on top. And I friggin' LOVE peppermint during Christmastime.

3. Describe your stocking.
It's tan with red plaid on the foldover part, and a country cabin in the snow on it with a snowman in the yard and it says "Tis the Season" or something like that. We picked non-traditional ones at Target last Christmas. My mom always mails ours (the traditional red & white fuzzy ones with our names embroidered on them) filled with lots of goodies.

4. Favorite present as a child?

I really loved my Magic Nursery dolls and always got a new one each year. One year I got a set of triplets, so my mom got me a dollie stroller to go with them. And I remember when I was 13 I wanted one of those Dear Diary electronic diaries from Tiger so bad and when I got it, I almost shat my pants.

Before my parents had me, my great grandmother made these gorgeous giant stockings for each of my parents and my sister. When I came along, my parents bought a little weiner stocking for me, and then one for my sister (they said it was "technically" my grandma's, but that was the stocking that Santa filled for my sister so that ours would be even.) So my sister in actuality had 2. I put up with this for like 10 years, and then I would openly complain about the stocking sitation. Every year, I'd bitch and moan until finally my mom traced one of the stockings and made a giant one for me. But it was so half-assed and not nearly as pretty as the others. I'm scarred for life.

2. Food that reminds you of the holidays? That jellied cranberry stuff, and cream cheese Christmas tree cookies. 

3. Describe your stocking. My mom made it, and it is cross-stitch with a picture of Santa sleeping in a rocking chair with a kitty, and it has my name across the top.

4. Favorite present as a child? I got the American Girl Samantha one year, and I was so excited.  I opened her on Christmas Eve at my grandma's, and went to bed with her.  When I woke up Christmas morning, she was missing and I totally freaked out.  My parents sent me downstairs, and she was "asleep" under the tree in her bed that they had also gotten me.  :-)

Stuffing. MMMMMM.  I made some this weekend with a roast chicken since I am testing recipes for Christmas dinner.

Velvet.  With an initial.  FI has a similar one.

4. Favorite present as a child?
Breyer model horses.  I still collect them sometimes.

Hot Chocolate with Baileys or Tom and Jerry's.

2. Food that reminds you of the holidays?
Fresh panettone and then french toast made with the left over panettone the day after Christmas. 

3. Describe your stocking.
The one at my parent's house is a pink quilted type pattern with different kind of buttons sewn on it.  At my apartment,  I have a red and green plaid one with a lace cuff. 

4. Favorite present as a child?
I remember loving all the Barbies I got (even though I ended up cutting the hair on all of them and pulling their heads off at some point).  But the best part of the holiday season was flipping through the Holiday Wishbook from Sears and circling pretty much everything and dog-earring nearly every page.  So... to answer the question, my favorite was pretty much anything that I got.
