Wife Discovers Husband's Second Wedding via Facebook

Here's the link.

Memo to husband: If you are planning on having a wedding while still married, it's best not to have 200 photos of it on Facebook with a "public" setting.

Memo to wife: If your husband does this, do not take him back.

Re: Wife Discovers Husband's Second Wedding via Facebook

  • I saw this on the Today show!  I love how he claims that they weren't married based on a "technicality."  She had a great comeback essentially saying that we though we were married, our friends and family thought we were married, and the GOVERNMENT though we were married, so yeah, we were married.

He's also an idiot for allowing that sh*t to be on facebook.
  • There are so many things wrong with this! I think the thing that bugs me most (aside from him and the other woman getting married as disney characters) is that she just let him take her kids. It didn't sound like she was even fighting to get them back.

Against the advice of her LAW FIRM, too. Idiot.
  • hehe. I try not to laugh at sad things, but this is a little more stupid than sad.
  • This is definitely diick in a blender worthy.
  • Wow... she let him take her kids? And why is she just watching someone live her life thru facebook? I would be in FL getting my children back. Creepy Beauty wouldn't be playing mom to them without a court order making me do so.

  • WTF?  Umm, lady, you were and idiot for taking him back in the first place.  Why in hades would you let him take your kids too?  I think that woman needs a lobatomy.  Go get your kids moron!  If I were in her shoes I would be on the Today Show for cutting his balls off.

  • I'm gonna play devils advocate here.. hehe...

From being in an abusive relationship in the past, and having the guy totally take down my self worth (and yes, I took him back A LOT), I don't think it's just easy to be done with a relationship.  I think she probably really loved the guy and truly believed that they could work thru the issues, especially since they had kids together.  I'm not saying that I think it's right, I'm just talking from a person who's been in that situation before.  Luckily for me, one day I woke up and now I look back and wonder what in the hell I was thinking! LOL  But when you're right in the middle of the situation, you generally can't see further than the end of your nose.

As far as "letting him take the kids" ... I don't think she meant to let him.  From what I read, he said he was going to give the baby milk, and next thing she knew, he was driving away.  My ex-husband actually kidnapped my son from me a couple years ago.  We had a court order and everything stating he was to give him back to me on Sunday, and instead, he kept him away from me for a full week after that.  I went to the courts and they told me I could file a form with the court saying that he is in violation of the court order, but it would take at least 3 months to get a court hearing. I even hired an attorney to help me.  After a week, for whatever reason, I got my son back.

I know in the state of Colorado (I don't know about other states), but in this state, if there is no parenting plan ordered by the court, either parent can do whatever they want with the kids. So saying "Why doesn't she just go get them back?" isn't as simple as that.

Told you I was going to play devils advocate! LOL! Laughing

  • I wonder about both her decision making skills and her parenting skills.  Yes, the guy is a db.  However, she let him take the kids (two are his too and the third was hers from a previous relationship) and instead of her fighting to get the kids she is doing the talk show circuit?! Are you kidding me?  There's something else going on here (someone is looking for their 15 minutes of fame).  Now let's guess which b-list celeb reality show she will be on in the Fall.
  • Don't take him back, and sue him!  If a guy leads a double life, consider him a spy, and be 007 and blast him back to jail.

  • I don't know exactly what state she lives in, and so obviously I don't know the rules, but how about this, if him and his lawyer are fighting with the fact that they weren't ACTUALLY married, then without a court order he has no visitation rights (I know that's what it is here in IA & NE). Even if you are proven to be the BIOLOGICAL FATHER you still have NO rights if you aren't married until you go to court and get court ordered visitation. Sooo...she needs to be filing something in the form of KIDNAPPING and getting her kids back instead of sitting on the news circuit. That just makes me sick.

And yes, I do feel bad for her that her marriage fell apart in this way, and no I don't think it's easy to just up and drop your husband, but all I'm saying is that if my husband did that to me, he wouldn't be moving back in to my house or being left alone with my kids until the divorce papers were in my hand. It's sad to say, but if he did something THAT wrong, how could you possibly trust him again? ESPECIALLY with your babies.

    Ugh...some people shouldn't reproduce.

    Hi Chasity..

Oh yes!  I totally get what you're saying and couldn't agree more!  Some people really shouldn't reproduce!  And I also agree about being on the news instead of using that time to get her kids back.  I'm not sure that either of them are really fit! LOL
