So today FI and I decided to move our wedding day up by a week!
His brother (his BM) called him from Iraq today and told him he couldn't come to our wedding because of how his unit is taking leave
FI was really sad and called to let me know. He was pretty bummed and I know how important it is to him to have his brother there so I told him that we can move up the date by a week to July 30th. He got so excited, and we have already contacted the venue and they are fine with us changing the date. All our 'vendors' are family friends who are fine with the date change so far as well!
The only 'down side' is that our invites are already printed and ready to send. Tomorrow we'll be whiting out the date and writing in the new one, which is klassy but I figure having his brother there is more important than my perfect invites
This morning when I woke up we had 56 days to go, and now we've only got 48!! I am in a time warp, and slight freak out mode! Will I get everything done?!
