Sucrets - Taco Bell Story

Sorry it's been 2 days! Yesterday was crazy busy and this is my first chance to get back here!

Taco Bell story
I didn't realize it was the end of the reception when my parents started shooing Scott and I outside to get in the car and go to the hotel. As a result I didn't have a chance to use the restroom from 2:30pm until 9pm (when we got in the car). I had to pee but I thought since we were only 20 minutes away from the hotel I'd be fine. Well, there was construction between us and the hotel and we got hopelessly lost, as I'm sitting there willing myself not to think about needing to pee. We go to grab a cell to call my parents for directions and realize that my dad had my phone, and Scott had given his to his mom before the ceremony. We're driving around and I'm starting to get desperate ( it's been over an hour). As I'm getting ready to tell him to just pull over on the side of the road we find the main road again and get back to civilization. The first thing we see is a Taco Bell and I tell Scott to pull in. I jump out of the car and run to the bathroom, wedding dress and all, while Scott goes in (in his full Dress Blues) to ask the cashier for directions. I get out of the bathroom and he's standing in front of the car looking really pissed.
It turns out his cell phone was in the glove box the whole time. Sil had tossed it in but didn't tell him. She called to see where we were because we weren't at the hotel like we should have been. She comes to rescue us along with his mom, aunt and cousin. We were all laughing hysterically over the whole situation but he still gets livid at the story because "his inability to remember directions made his bride pee in a Taco Bell."
It is now the Taco Bell he goes to for lunch when he's at work, which just serves to rub salt in the wound lol.

  • I'm not Sucrets, but that's amazing.
  • I was just so thankful I had a dress that didn't require help peeing!

<div>Yeah, I'm kind of scared of mine. I'll have to practice gathering up all the fabric.</div>
  • Mine wasn't too bad, and it had a decent train. I just hiked it up and wrapped the train around my chest into a big ball (sorry lol).
  • Hahaha. Yeah, I didn't really want a train, but my bestie insisted on keeping it. I'm going to make her help me pee for that. There's a lot of layers, so I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to do it alone anyways.
  • I had fun with mine. I kept walking around making it "swish" on the floor. I'm also the dork who loves dressing up in period outfits for plays if the dresses have long trains (like princess dresses from the time of castles and knights).
  • Random tidbit of the day: I used to take my bedsheets and wrap them around me and make different "dresses" to run around it. I was pretty cool like that.

  • That's awesome!  Well, sucky that you got lost and all, but hysterical...and I LOVE that he goes to that one now!

any - when you pee, sit backwards on the toilet, like face the wall.  That's what I did (after reading about it on here) and it was easy-peasy!  No help needed.

<div>It makes so much sense! </div>
  • I used to do the dress thing too :) Or I would wear a regular dress and pin the sheet on the bottom so it had a super long train.
  • katie- that is amazing. for the record... My dress made it IMPOSSIBLE to go alone. I went once. Two friends and I agreed to never discuss it again. Thankfully the sheer bulk of the dress really preserved most of my modesty. But still.....
