It is Friday, it is Friday, it is Friday!

Woo Hoo!  I am so happy that we are going to the cottage this weekend! I just checked the weather and it is supposed to rain up North all day tomorrow and I don't care! I just want to be away from 'life' (even though DH suggested we take up some marking, bleh, but good idea still).

And we get our pro pics today! The photographer is dropping them off at my school! So FI and I can look at them up at the cottage and I will post some Sunday night when I get home (no electricity or running water up there).

The cottage sounds wonderful, number---and I totally know what you mean about getting away from 'life'...I want to as well.

A friend of mine want to meet for dinner tonihgt. I haven't seen her in a while, but I'm always so tired after work and then I have to drive an hour home. She lives near where I work, so it wouldn't put me too dar out of my way, but...but, I am le tired!! As it is, I didn't get home until late last night because I locked my damn keys in my car on m lunch break

Oh, and Rich and I got blogged today...I'm super pumped about that.

Morning!  I've already got dinner going.  I"m excited.  (pulled pork in the crock pot).

We dont' have many plans this weekend.  We've opted to pass on Halloween parties this year and will probably just stay in.  Hopefully H isn't working tomorrow so we can go shopping for hardwood flooring.  I love that we're almost to that stage!

Good morning, everyone!

TGIF. Although, this weekend is going to be busy, it's still nice to not have to get up early for work tomorrow. DH and I are going to a Halloween party tonight as Bunsen and Beaker from the Muppets. I think it's going to be hilarious.

We're also going to a wedding tomorrow, so hopefully I can manage to drag us away from the party tonight at a semi-reasonable hour so that I'm not falling asleep in church.

Haha! Funny that you mention that. Friends and I were talking about when we were younger and how we could drink all night, go to our part-time jobs in the morning (still drunk, usually) and then do it all again the next night. Now, if we have a few glasses of wine, we feel it for days. It's terrible.

I think if I did the no-doz thing now, I'd probably go into cardiac arrest! :)

Morning! Pulled pork sounds yummy right now, and I don't even like it all that much. H is smoking meats tomorrow in a bullet smoker he just refurbished, and you'd think it was Christmas morning the way he's so excited over it.

People are dressing up for Halloween today. A guy I work with his this huge death costume that's like 9 feet tall. He just scared the shiit out of me. I have my headphones on and didn't hear him come up behind me, so I turn around to see this lurking figure in black with long, alien-type arms hovering over me.

Anywho, I finally moved from part time to full time(yippie!) but the only thing that sucks is I had to give up my Monday nights...Which means I have to quit my chorus...Which means I'm gonna cry

Good Friday, Ladies.  It's going to be a great weekend.  My cousin is in town, so she's going to spend the day with my daughters and then we're grilling tonight.  Plus, the weather is still holding at 70* (wth - it's almost November???) so we'll get outside quite a bit, and probably smoke something.

Good Morning ladies.

Les- I had to think of you the other night, DH was told at work he could possibly take a position in Denver. Not going to happen though.

Rach- I love your pictures, but you know that already.

This weekend nothing special going on, DH leaves me Sunday for Florida. So I will make him watch scary movies with me until he leaves.

My son is bringing his GF up next weekend for a visit, very excited to see him.

I just found out that I get to work from home most of next week because my boss is at a conference. Woo Hoo!  I moved over to this division of the company this past February, and apparently we get more holidays over here so I get to take off Election Day and Veterans Day.  I love when Friday mornings start off with good news!

Thinking about going to see either Saw or PA2 this weekend.  Has anyone seen either? Reviews?

Steph, I KNOW how you feel! UGH! My upstairs neighbor does that all the friggin time. And at midnight-ish, it always sounds like she is having a little River dance party up there, but more like stomping. Its ridiculous.

My friend is taking me to lunch today, and then I'm hoping 5 pm comes quickly! I need to clean my apartment, go grocery shopping and go find a new outfit. My first bridal shower is tomorrow and I have no idea what to wear. I'm looking forward to it though. Mostly just the cake. My sister has been taunting me over text like "I just finalized the cake! Its so cute.." I don't really care what it looks like, but I do care what it tastes like! ha

I am going to try to be productive today, which means I shouldn't be knotting right now...

People for dinner tonight (making chicken Fet Alfredo with salad, garlic bread, chips and humus, and chocolate and fruit for desert). Then we are going to a big party Saturday. My mom is dogsitting so she will spend the night Saturday while we stay in a hotel.


What's up with all you young'uns staying at home all weekend? What is going on, are you going all "old and married" ??

Actually, I think I like to party now more than I did in my 20's. I was a new lawyer then working 70+ hours a week as opposed to 50, and I never seemed to have any money because I was throwing it all at my awful student loans or my car.
