Re: Would your H/Fi

• He would eat A meal without meat. Likely not more than that though =P
• yeah he will. but he won't like it as much. but he eats whatever I give him.

why can't I use capitals?
• Yes. But he prefers meat.

• I thought all men were meat and potatoes lol. Maybe it's just Southern men?

• Mine will but not of his own choice.  Because, "everything's better with meat"
• DH is veggie just like me...  so yes, every meal he'll eat without meat :) (me too)
Ughh now I want a steak.
Posted by ricksang
Ha, I get like that every now and then, where I just crave some nice steak or bacon. But really, 95% of the time I could completely do without beef and pork and somewhat chicken. I love fish and seafood. And if I could afford to only eat that, I would without a second thought.
• Number I am the same way.

• I say it gently, but if I don't like something my FI makes I tell him.  I'll eat it, but if I don't ever want to eat it again I make it known.  He does the same with me now, but luckily he rarely doesn't like what I make.

• I could eat beef every night. It's my favorite.

• I could eat beef or raw fish pretty much every night. That is apparently my body telling me that my body needs more protein.

Adam has always been pretty easy to change, food wise. Ive changed a lot of his habits for the better since living with him. Ive even instilled some nutritional knowledge into him too. He eats about 1000x better now than he did 8 ears ago.
• I am not a fish person but I love sushi with shirmp and crab.

My H does too, even though his diet could be better. Lately, mine could be better too.

• Graham is likely the most easy going person I have EVER met...(which is why he is perfect for me. I am very easy going, except for all the times I am not easy going, when I am really uptight, I pretty much only function on two ends of any spectrum and rarely in the middle...)..this makes it really easy to please him.

Our biggest struggle is his metabolism. He is 6foot3 and weight maybe 180, 190 if he is working at keeping on weight. He eats A LOT. He eats pretty much every 2 hours and if he doesn't he gets cranky. It drives me a little nuts.

Mine has been pretty good lately, but only because I gained 10lbs from eating really bad all summer and drinking too much.

My husband comes from a family that spends 0$ every week on fresh vegetables and thinks lettuce is bad for you. Im impressed he eats even remotely well, with his upbringing.
• No way!! My man is a MEAT man!

And the whole time, my future husband was in the room...... image image
• Yeah Nebb, my H doesn't touch fresh veggies and I think it's gotten to where I don't eat them as much, which is not good.

Noooo ricks!! Save yourself!
• Hahaha. I need to tighten up! I will have a tomato salad tonight for dinner!
image
• Dinner?! Its almost 10:30!!

I ve been eating salads constantly for the past 3 weeks, really just because i am really digging them lately. I have a bad habit of eating the same thing over and over again until I hate it.
• Yeah, I am having a late dinner lol.

I do the same thing. I will find something I like, eat it over and over and then get sick of it and not eat it again for 6 months.

• I pretty much killed broccoli for myself that way, I cant stand the taste of it anymore. I try and I just hate it. All I ate last summer/fall was broccoli and now I hate it.
• I put low fat american cheese on broccoli and cauliflower a lot.  I like veggies, but I get sick of eating them all the time.  Cheese saves a lot of boring things for me.
BabyFruit Ticker
• Yeah cheese saves EVERYTHING!
image
• I have a list of staple foods that I cycle through. I eat a couple of things for an extended period of time and then I get tired of them. But 6 months later I want them again.

See this is what I should have been doing for the past 3 weeks!!!!

• I think I like meat more than H. But most of our dinners don't have meat. Or if it does, it's venison. But I'll buy a nice steak every other week and we'll share it. If we go out somewhere, I'll usually order steak with a salad or steamed veggies.
I love seafood more than anything, but H doesn't, so we never have it at home. I only get it if we go to a fancy restaurant.
The thing that I hate is H is always saying how he wants to eat more veggies, but he bitches about the prices of them, fresh or frozen.

I wish it made much of a difference, but my body hates me and what I eat doesnt do much. I hate to eat well AND work out in order to lose weight. Its a pain in the rear end. I ate well for 2 weeks and didnt lose anything, last week I worked out 4 times and lost 2 god damn pounds. I hate my metabolism
