F/U to last week's drama

I wanted to say thanks again for your advice regarding the issues I was having with my mom last week.  I'm happy to report that --

* My granddad is now home and doing very well.  The social worker at the rehabilitation center was able to set him up with a home hospital bed, a walker and a wheelchair.  We also had the cable co. come out yesterday to put a cable box in his bedroom so he can watch TV at night.

* We were able to get a lady from granddad's church to stay with him on weekdays while mom, aunt and I are at work.

* Mom and I finally had a long talk (not fight *whew*) about giving me space now that I'm married.  Her first big test is to see if she can leave me alone for a whole weekend while I look after DH (he had knee surgery yesterday and can't walk for another 3 days).

* We had a great time at Blizzcon last weekend and we're looking forward to starting up our own little goblin guild.

    Glad everything worked out for you. Sometimes I think it takes things like this to happen in order to have that "discussion" and move on in a better direction.

    Goblins are a new race being introduced in the next expansion, a guild is a group of players who kill dragons together.

    I'm jealous of your Blizzcon Imp. I went last year and it was so much fun. I had 20 or so of my guildmates there with me, and we owned the BG community tournament.

    Glad to hear it all worked out!  I hope grandad rehabs well and DH has a good recovery from the knee surgery.
