A little backstory: H's best friend (who is also one of my good friends) has been working in Hawaii for the past 6 months. He's coming back in about 2 weeks, but will only be here for a day before he goes off to CA, then FL, and then back to HI. He asked if we would host a BBQ for him at our house. We, of course, said sure.
I asked him if he wanted to keep it small or invite a bunch of people. Mind you, by a "bunch of people" I was thinking like 20-30. Which I guess was my first mistake. I invited the people the 3 of us know and told him just to tell the ones I didn't know. My second mistake.
Anyway, he has now invited an additional 60 people to the 30 that were already invited. I know my language was pretty vague, but I guess I just assumed he wouldn't invite THAT MANY people to at BBQ at our house without running it by us.
Now, I'm kind of freaking out that we're going to have this HUGE party at our not-really-that-big house.
I guess I'm just venting and maybe hoping that you'll convince me not to stress about it (as I don't know that all these people will actually come) and that it will all some how work out ok.
