Nates, I have a similar one from I worked at Mervyns. Someone had made a pile of clothes in a fitting room and then peed all over them. It was weird and gross.

I have WAY worse stories from my last job, but I don't really want to get into them.

My first job I was a car hop waitress.

I also worked in a bait shop for a summer.  One day I killed all the minnows.  Oops...

Did you have to wear skates, AATB?

    Please tell, LEd Zepp!

    Carnies are scary.  I agree.

More stories from all, please! I just had a fight with my mother and I'm all stressed out.

I worked on a political campaign and had to make phone calls.
One guy blamed me for his terminal cancer, talked about losing a limb to land mines in Africa, and called me an n-er lover.

I worked at Graeter's (a Cincinnati ice cream place)  one summer...not so much interesting, but it was awesome.  We could pretty much make any kind of ice cream treat we wanted while we working.

I also worked at Victoria's Secret (and really, kind of still do, ugh.).  I once had a woman in the middle of the store, in the open, completely lift her shirt up and ask me, "Do y'all have this one?  In white?"  We've also had a few men come in shopping for themselves, which is always an interesting experience.

We did not have to wear skates... thankfully!  I was definitely not a professional server when I worked there.  There would have been a lot of wasted cheeseburgers if we were on skates...

At my previous job as a laser tech I had a lot of bad days. One included a woman who was getting her underarms and full legs lasered. It was summer and she decided that since we would have to wipe off her deodorant, she just wouldn't wear any all day. Her appointment was at the end of the day. And I was pregnant. I cannot explain to you how terrible this woman smelled. I even had a mask over my nose and mouth and still wanted to throw up. Also, I finished her under arms in about 10 minutes, but she decided to leave her arms up for the remaining hour of her treatment.

Next was a woman getting a full brazilian hair removal who literally had sh*t smeared on her ass cheek.

Third was a woman who was getting her bikini and upper lip lasered. While I was lasering her upper lip, she was started playing with her self. No joke. I found out later that she had already been spoken to for playing with herself with a wooden spoon. FI and his best friend will randomly bring out a wooden spoon to haunt me.

I can't tell you how much I hated that job.

When I was doing archaeology still one of our prehistoric sites was in a well known bear area of a national park. We walked to the site yelling "bear bear bear, hi bear bear bear" so that they wouldn't come eat us. One day my boss tells me to go to X,Y coordinates and points off in the distance. I go "Oh, you mean right next to the tree with fresh bear droppings and scratch marks?" "Yes there."
I still think she was trying to kill me.

Once at a PSmart a customer called and said his pet python ate his pet chihuahua and what could he do that wouldn't hurt the python but would save the dog. I'm still praying it was a prank call.

Gross one - Also at PSmart, I had a customer complain to my manager that the female bathroom was "nasty". He sends me in to clean it (I was the only female manager) and I almost puked. Someone had taken a dump. But not a normal dump. The entire toilet was filled to the seat cover, there was poo on all 4 walls, the floor, and over the entire toilet. I put on as many health suits that we had (for the animals) and spent the entire time gagging. I swear that person had better have been fvcking dying or something because that was just not right.

In actuality, working at the arena now has been my most interesting job. I was just walking into work one day when I ran into a full grown elephant. Like an into his foot. I had completely forgot the circus was in town and went into survival-panic mode and the first thoughts in my head were "That animal is bigger than me, therefore it wants to eat me, therefore I must freeze totally and completely and then it won't know I'm here."

My life kind of trickled back into my brain and I remembered this was a circus stage elephant and I could be severely freaking it out with my nervous energy. I finally saw a trainer and they (sort-of) showed me where to go.

That same week I stole some of this fancy tea that was suppose to go to Elton John, and saw Gene Simmon's mom get puked on by a drugged-out stranger, PLUS running into an elephant. That's when I knew my job was ridiculous.

I worked on an ambulance,... we (for whatever reason) always happend to get the calls for the people with mental issues.. one lady told me I was a sl*t cause I wore make up and said my cross around my neck was the sign of the devil and spit on me.. another kept telling me I had a spider on my head.. I told him that was my pet...

Never a dull moment with that job

I can't say I've found any of my jobs particularly interesting. I'm meant to be a housewife ala Karen Walker.

But I was a Starbucks Barista for about 2 years in college and I totally judge people who work at Starbucks now b/c they have these auto-espresso bars and have no idea how to actually make a latte/cappucino. Oh and for the record Starbucks' defition of latte/cappucino is backwards. Latte's are supposed to have more foam, cappucino's are supposed to be more milk, to go a cafe in Italy, you'll see.

I've seen so many people in their underwear (and less) at this point it doesn't really phase me anymore, but at the beginning, I would come home in shock like, "OMG.  I saw boobs at work today."

And the nastiness of people trying on swimsuits and underwear without keeping THEIR underwear on?  Yuck.  Common sense, people. (Though Led Zepp, your stories are way worse.)

I really should have quit much sooner than I did. It was all around horrible. 14 hours days and we were lucky to get a 30 minute break for lunch. Our manager was a b*tch.

I still a laser tech, but at a doctor's office as an independent contractor, so I have much more say in who I will and will not treat.

One of my friends used to work at VS and constantly had guys coming up for help with buying bras for their s/o's. One actually said, "Hmm I'm not sure what size she is" grabbed Ali's breasts, and went "oh, a little bigger than yours."

I was commenting to H about something I noticed at that store. If you ever tell a guy to feel something (fabric wise) they go for the crotch or boob fabric piece. A female will always go for the hem or waistband. Most guys I've pointed this out to didn't know they were doing it.

I worked at a horse breeding farm for a while. My job was cleaning the stallion's penis and then holding the mare still. Luckily for me the farm owner was the one in charge of "guiding" the stallion into the mare. That freaked me out really quickly.
