In happier news, I finally got the copyright for my book. So it's officially mine and anyone who tries to steal it will have to answer to me. Other than that, no plans for today. Just work.

Yup. FI dropped a bed on his toe during move-in weekend freshmen year (6 years ago) trying to loft my bed.  His toenail went MIA for awhile, but it's back now!

and CONGRATS!  How exciting  Does that mean I can buy it now?

Well that's good to know. Gross, but at least it will return someday should it decide to leave me. And no, unfortunately it's not ready to buy yet. It just means no one else can steal my story and pass it off as their own. You have to register the entire manuscript with the LIbrary of Congress so it's on file. It took forever, almost 9 months.

Well, I get to go to work for 8 hours, then the gym, then I get to make dinner which will most likely be the same thing ive eaten for the past 2 weeks (partly because its delicious, partly because all we have left is chicken). That is pretty much it. I might research some places for our potential trip, and Im waiting to hear back from my aunt about a rental car and the km and prices for it, but other than that, tuesdays are just another weekday to me.

Aww Sesh that's awesome!  And yes toenails grow back!  A friend of mine lost her big toenail in a powder puff football game and it is fully back now lol.

I am working on the guest list/seating chart from hell.  Someone please just put me out of my misery now.  My answer for everything at this point is, "I just don't freakin' care!"

However when meeting with our caterer/venue yesterday our coordinator told us not to get our hope up but there is a guy starting a videography business in the area and he wanted them to set up a "mock wedding" for him to use in his portfolio.  We ll, my wonderful coordinator was like, "Ummm come to our next wedding it's on October 30th!  I know the B and G wouldn't have a problem with it!"  So basically if this guy can get off of his day job on our wedding day he is going to be our videographer ...  FOR FREAKIN' FREE BABY!  I'm trying not to get to excited but it's really hard lol.  The venue is really pushing for it because our wedding will be the first ceremony they've ever held so they want to really hype it up.  So fingers crossed please!

Sesh, toenails grow back, I promise. 

I have Zerona appointment today. My first sessions didn't work, so they gave me free sessions, so I'm using them, on the off chance they actually do work. Otherwise it was just another indulgence for me and I was probably stupid to spend some of my tax refund on it. Oh well. 

Oh, and shhit is getting real at work again. But its so cool now that I don't have any student contact. I can actually shut my door and people don't need to see me. YAY! I can actually do work now!

Good morning everyone!  After reading a post last week on things we hate to do, I finally made a dreaded doctors appointment.  The importance of it just clicked.  So thank you for the cyber kick in the butt and support. 

That said, I am frantic right now. Its a miserable day and my mood is equally gray.  My mom died of colon cancer when she was 51. That was 22 years ago and I am just missing the heck out of her today....

hey everyone... at school today but my 10am is canceled so I just have class at 12 and at 4:30. I can live with that.

Typical day for me I guess. I really only have one project I need to get finished today and it's probably about a total of 2-3 hours of actual work. Other than that, I'd really like to file things and straighten out my desk.

Question for the morning:
Do you need to drink coffee each morning?

I feel as though during the week I have to have a cup each morning, sometimes two. But on the weekends I can skip it, no problem. In my mind, it just makes me feel like I function better in the earlier hours of 7-9 am.

What are your costumes?  I just decorated for Halloween.  Love it.  FI found mannequin parts in a dumpster at one of his sites (he's a landscaper) so we totally put them in the front yard coming up from the "tombstones".  I wonder what the new neighbors will think of that.

KD- yay for H coming home. I know what you mean. I cannot sleep when H isn't home. He thinks I am insane because even when he goes out with friends and I am home doing homework... I will wait up. I don't care if he stays out late.. I just can't sleep until hes home...When he goes away... I wake up constantly. It stinks.

That's cool. So I'll just hit you up in the future for all my copyrighting needs, k? I sent the paperwork in March and in the past always got it back in a few months, but apparently the Library of Congress has been really backed up so it took forever. I was hoping to get it by the time the book was released, so thankfully it came in.

And I want to read whatever you're getting published on.
