Happy Monday Morning!

Hi there!  I'm up ass early and hanging out at a hotel in Cincinnati.  DH, Em, and my mom are still sleeping, and I am doing laundry here.  Em basically slept from midnight to 5am, but I fed her quick and I think she's still sleeping.  Too bad I'm awake!

We make the final part of our trip today and will be in our new hometown by this afternoon!  Woot!  Too bad our stuff won't her there until next week.  Grrrrrr, I'm so angry about that.  Our trip actually hasn't been too bad, considering we're traveling with a 3 month old. 

How was everyone's weekend?  Any fun stories to share?

ETA:  holy hell, TK did something right!  I'm not from Arkansas anymore!!

Hi beautiful! Aren't those few minutes of peace before everyone wakes up so awesome? It's the only 'me' time I get all day.

We didn't do much this weekend. We saw Inception on Saturday and I didn't even leave the house yesterday. Just spent the whole day hanging out with my little buddy.

I was offline for about two months so I missed what happened with your move.  How did you end up in OH?

I'm was killing more plants today and now am just hanging out waiting for H and his buddy to finish cooking dinner.  We're having ribs.  And they started them at 7:30 PM.  Maybe we'll be having ribs for breakfast...

Most days I don't leave the house, lol.  But that's great that you had a nice weekend...and hopefully had some good snuggle time with B?

Oh, I didn't post this, but Em slept for 8 HOURS the other night without eating, then snacked and slept some more.  Amazing!!  It was a nice gift for the night before we moved...if only she would do it again!  Today has been promising, though.  I'm impressed that she's slept as well as she has considering how different everything is.

DH got a professor job at Kent State, so we packed up and moved!  I'm so sad to be missing the 100+ temps in the south....not.

Not much exciting going here.  We left France and now live in the middle of a rain forest on top of a mountain.  yeah...

H got a job fairly quickly but since this isn't a hotbed of Ad/Marketing agencies, I'm having a bit of trouble.  Today I was turned down for a receptionist job.

We did get some great snuggle time. He's getting so old and independent now, so it's great to just watch movies and play games all day.

BTW, every time I look at Em, I want to have a baby. She's so adorable. That's awesome that she slept for 8 hours with out eating. That major for a little one her age.

Oh wow, what country are you in now?  I am jealous of your jet setting lifestyle, but I'm such a homebody and don't really enjoy traveling too much.  And I'm sure they realized that you are far overqualified for a receptionist job!

Haha, I'm the opposite!  I'm all "aw, it'd be nice to be pg again" but then I can't imagine the stress on my body with how little sleep I'm getting now!

It was the night before she turned 2 months adjusted, so I guess she is growing up.  Ahhhh it's going by so fast!

This may be too personal, but are you and DH considering having kids?

So I guess I'm not the only one up at the buttcrack of dawn. Morning, early birds!

I'm already at work, but it looks liek it will be a slow day. I can't wait for the week to be over, my dad is having a going-away party this Saturday for my brother, who is going off to college soon. I'm excited to spend the day with family.

My stepdad starts his new full-time job today, and I'm also super happy about that. It's such a relief to him and my mom that right now nothing could put a damper on my day.

We finished the move this weekend and even though the place is smaller, the living situation is MUCH better. And... I may or may not have called cface SIL a cface and she heard. It slipped when J called her a B. Oops! But it was so liberating!

Hi everyone.  H and I went to see Debbie Does Dallas the Musical yesterday.  It was hilarious.  They replace the hardcore scenes in the movie with really silly song and dance routines.  We're planning on going back to see it again while it's still in town.

Not that I know of. Honestly, don't know, don't care. I was carrying something downstairs and one of her soon-to-be step daughters was sitting in the way. I honestly couldn't see. I got down stairs and cface said "Saying excuse me would have been nice" so I snapped back "People not being in my way when we're moving would be nice"  and she started yelling stupid sh!t and I ignored her. Then she started in on J, which was when he said she was dead to him and called her a B. Then it slipped. And I don't regret it.
 
MIL repeatedly calls me selfish (and continued to do so that day to J) because for the 2.5 mos we lived w/her she never bought groceries & cleaning supplies, and one night I asked her if she realized she came asking for something of ours every single day. That makes me selfish in her eyes. (But when I wanted to do something different for our vow renewal, she YELLED at me in front of my own mother at the ceremony site saying I have to do it HER way). She forgets that I was the one who convinced her son to put her on our phone plan (big mistake) and I was the one who got her into the credit union. But, ladies, I'm selfish.

Oh, and apparently this is cface SIL's "time" and we're all supposed to do whatever she wants whenever she wants. She got engaged in April for a wedding next April. Since when does she get a whole year dedicated to her?

Holy Hera, Sco, I don't envy you at all. I can't imagine being a part of a family like that. At least your H is 100% on your side. It does make me wonder what kind of person could be okay with her brother saying she's dead to him and continue on like she rules the world.

Not a very nice one, that's for sure. I keep finding things out here and there from J's Aunt and my god the stories about MIL are ridiculous. It's been a whole lot more relaxed these past two days in our new place, that's for sure!

Psychology, but not clinical (therapy).  This semester he's teaching Intro, Cognitive Psych, and Basic Learning Processes.
