I also hate cranberry sauce, but have you ever had cranberry orange relish?  Basically you take a pound of (fresh) cranberries, an orange plus some of the rind, and about a cup of sugar (to taste) and throw it all in the food processor and process it up.  It is ohmygodamazing.

I haven't J, but maybe I'll try it sometime.  I use a can of cranberry sauce to make my apple cranberry pork loin, but that and when I drink cranberry juice are really the only times I ingest cranberry.

Ohhh.  Yeah, it's really good.  It's the perfect mix of sweet and tart and citrusy and it's just....yum.  If you don't mind crunching on a bit of sugar ;)

My unpop op is that I hate when people are all ready to throw the book at someone that's been charged with a heinous crime, or think that someone should lose all their rights when they've been convicted.  But I'm also of the belief that some sex offenders can be rehabilitated and become productive members of society and that sex offender registries can sometimes cause more harm than good.

I have another one. I wasn't blown away impressed by the woman that took a lower paying job either. I think Tiny's argument got way off track because she fixated on one thing in the article, but I've known a lot of business owners over the past two years that have stopped paying themselves in order to save the business (and save the jobs of the people that work there).

I'm not at all taking anything away from her because I think it's incredibly noble for someone to sacrifice in that way. I just don't think she's that unusual.

I think what makes it unusual (at least to me) is that you don't hear about that stuff as often as you hear about the higher ups getting bonues and raises while the lower jobs are cut.  I don't work in an industry where you know people that do that, you know?  So it makes it notable and unusual to me.

I think its kinda dumb how some americans *every year* have to make comments about how weird Canada is because have a different thanksgiving, as though its only allowed in november and anything else is an abomination. That's very true. I didn't think about it that way. I guess it's all relative. Both my dad (and his business partner) and my uncle have done this. Also, a friend from HS have been doing this for the last few months.
