Show me your wedding band/e-ring combo please!

I have a tiffany style round cut solitaire (no side stones) and I'm not sure what type of band I would like. Can those of you with a solitaire please show me your band with your e-ring? I'm a visual person. lol Thanks!

Sorry about the strange finger positions lol. i have finger tips I promise!

The engagement ring is just a solitaire (square cut? I don't know, it's just all shiny to me). The wedding band (shown below) slides over the engagement band and has 2 saphires and then two diamonds. His ring is the big black monster lol.

    Well, this is my e-ring.

I'm not married yet, but I'll probably either wear a plain white gold band like this:

or go with one like this:

    Sorry for the craptastic photos.

These might be hard to see, the first one is my e-ring, and the second is my wedding ring, with DH's...

EDIT: All rings shown are 22kt yellow gold with diamonds.

EDIT2:  With the unique shape of the e-ring,  I ended up wearing the e-ring on the right, and the wedding band on the left hand...  They don't go together, they weren't supposed to :(

I absolutely had the same problem finding my band.  It seemed like nothing worked with it...I tried on so many bands and enhancers that my head was spinning!  FI and I ultimately decided on using two semi-eternity bands... one on each side.  We liked this look because it didn't compete with the solitaire and they fit nicely next to the mounting.

I hope you find something you love - don't be afraid to try something unconventional if you can't get the look you want.  :)

    Fingers are weird.

I just took these with my phone, so it's a bit awkward.

My wedding band is channel set, but not all the way around, see:

Ooooh I love your band Anna :)

Also don't feel bad about going to a bunch of stores and try on various bands. You might find something you absolutely love that you wouldn't have thought about. You don't have to buy them just for trying them on :)

If I wear them all, this is what it looks like. It's a solitaire, wrap, and another band. FI got ring happy.

Mine are in my bio. Cant pull the picture here at work. But I also have a round solitaire, but the band made it really hard to match a wedding band too.

Katie, I ordered that same ring for FI!
My e ring is square in a tiffany setting too, but i just have the plain platinum band. FI told me in a few years he wants to get me a new band with diamonds and sapphires.
Just thought that was interesting. I knew you had good taste!

My e-ring is a princess cut solitaire, with some channel set stones on the side.  The wedding band has channel set stones and sits flush against the e-ring.

I love my sapphires. The rings are white gold and so far are holding up pretty well. Per the jeweler I go in twice a year to get them inspected and cleaned and I might get them redipped next time, but they really don't need it yet. I was rough with them the first year too. I worked with animals for 50 hours a week they were in fish tanks, hamster cages, etc. I was pretty impressed.

That is impressive. Sapphires are supposed to be fairly hard stones, right? Seems like I heard someone saying that rubies and emeralds tend to be a bit softer.

Did you work at Petsmart? Seems like I remember you saying that. I worked there as a part time thing a few years ago. It was fun at times, but horrible at times.. I had to scrape up dried doggy doo that someone had smeared down the entire dog toy aisle once. Thats the day I decided it just wasn't for me.

Yep, I was the Pet Care Manager at 2 of the top stores in the company sales wise aka, busy as fvck. Being outside DC we also had some of the most self entitiled customers ever. My husband still works there as a Presentation Manager so he mostly just deals with the not living things and it's a little easier.

no offense nickchick (is OP even around?), but wouldn't a round simple solitaire be the easiest to pick a band with? What are you having problems with? Have you gone physically shopping (versus online shopping)? I bet you'll find something through process of elimination.

Oh man! Everyone's rings are so beautiful! Thanks for sharing, I can't get enough bling eye candy. lol I know I want a diamond band and I want to be able to wear it alone when I choose. (although I'm not sure why I would not want to wear my e-ring! lol) So far I THINK I'm leaning towards a prong set diamond band, non-eternity. And I don't want the diamonds to go too far across my finger to where they touch in between my pinky and middle fingers, making it uncomfortable to wear. (did that make sense?) My e-ring is super comfy, I don't even feel it.
I went to Robbins Bros. to browse and get an idea of what would look nice with my e-ring but I feel pressured to go "browse" in person. and I hate to waste the sales person's time. ugh.
    Anyway, here is my e-ring.

here's what i'm leaning towards as far as a band.

    But i like also...

And i thought this was very pretty also, and different but i'm not sure if would fit up against my e-ring

But please....keep sharing your wedding band/e-ring combos! I love drooling over everyone's sparkles! and getting ideas. There are so many options with solitaires.

I don't know if that is something anybody has come across on here but I know others who have had the issue - the way my diamond is set, no band can go besie my E ring, on either side.  The setting pushes the other band away and no matter how many I try to have "click" in - nothing fits.  I have to get my W ring specially made.  I have pasted a pic of my E ring and drawing of what I want for my W ring but unless I get it at a reasonable price, I'm going with just a platinum band.  FI went with tungsten (sp?)  He's already got his.

I don't wear my e-ring anymore.  I only wear my wedding band.  I'll toss on the e-ring if I'm dressing up for some reason, but that's the only time I wear it.

And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now. The e-ring is very wide (that's a mountain range all around it), and the wedding band is a very narrow plain gold band.

I hear this a lot. At the moment i can't imagine not wanting to wear it but i could see it scratching future baby or some unforseable reason so i want to get a band that i love with AND with out the e-ring. #3 i looove on it's own, but i'm not sure about it with the e-ring.

JaciAngel9, is that an emerald cut? I love the shape! but ya, it seems like it might be hard to find a band for it.

I have a 6 prong knife type setting, so that one prong tends to push away some bands. I figure i will just need to find one that sits pretty flush. Does that bug anyone else? Having a band not sit flush with the e-ring?

Love this! It's so unique! My mom had something similar when she married my step-dad. They took a picture of the view from their land and he had it engraved along the band. But no diamond. Yours reminded me of hers.
