I dig new office supplies too.  It makes my fucking day when I get a new reporters notebook or OMG NEW PENS.  <strong>New pens</strong> are the absolute best.  Whenever I get a new pen I can't help but sign my name on everything.
    Posted by AllAboutTheBenjamin
I read this as "new penis" lol because there was an "I" above it in your post.
  • The word 'besmirch' makes me happy.

Omg chels that's a funny reading fail.  Lol, new penises.  "I love when my husband gets a new penis."

  • Yeah, pens are the best.  I thought it might be weird to admit my pen obsession though. ;)

These are my all-time favorite. And they come in tons of colors now, which makes me even happier.

    YES!

I remember whenever they would jam, you'd have to blow on the end to make them go again.  Teachers hated those things so much. I'm so glad they're not around anymore.

not the same, but I brought some of my old Gelly Roll pens to work a few weeks ago. They make my mundane meetings so much better.
  • I love new office supplies too. I get disappointed when H picks out the notebooks and post-its for the business. He doesn't understand why it matters what color they are.

Also, here is a picture of Jack when he was a puppy:

    He was so teeny tiny.

Write Pen 15 on your hand, but don't put a space between the word and numbers. ;) Did anyone else fall for that in elementary school? I did it on the bus on the way home once and my mom was like "WHY IS THAT ON YOUR HAND?" I don't think I knew what a penis was at the time.

<div>YES! I did my Language Arts homework with one once, and my teacher told me that was not acceptable and made me redo it in boring black ink.  I was sad. </div>

  • Holy shiit, I can't believe how much pet boarding/sitting costs!  Makes me really, really happy that I have an awesome aunt that lives 2 miles from me.  She always checks up on our kitty every few days when we travel.  In fact, they came over yesterday to get the key for our trip to Hawaii in a couple weeks.

LP - she's adorable!  I love mini Schnauzers, we had a couple growing up (my mom still has one of them) and they are such awesome dogs.

  • Lol mara, I was definitely in the pen15 club.

  • blech, dot. I hate anything Paper-Mate.  They're like the Rose Art of pen companies. (i.e. crappy and nowhere near as good as Crayola.)

I like those second pens you posted though!
In Response to Re: Tell me what makes you happy : I also hated Papermate until I found these.  The seond ones are Uniball vision elite.  I don't think I even have a blue or black pen in my office.  I wonder what that says about me?

I love those top pens you posted.  They are my favorites.  They write so nice and smoothly without smearing.  Love them.

</div><div>Thanks! That's Lucy. She's awesome.  Seriously, very very rarely barks, she's never chewed on anything except her toys, (except for socks, but I think she mistakes them as toys), she plays well with my parents schnauzer...the only problem is she thinks the dining room is her personal restroom sometimes.  But other than that, we seriously couldn't have asked for a better dog.</div><div>
</div><div>Schnauzers are the only kind I've never had.  I had 4 at various times growing up,  my parents have one now, and H and I have Lucy.  It's an awesome breed.  Here is Cassie, who died in 2008:</div><div>

  • The AE fizzled out fast. Usually they last longer than that.

    LP, Lucy is adorable.
Adamar- aw, poor pups. I didn't realize she was a Dobie (her coloring almost looks like a weimaraner, so pretty).

<div>We get that a lot.  We get greyhound sometimes too.  It was convenient when H was living in an apartment that didn't allow "vicious" breeds.  When you see her in person you can see where she has the Dobie markings, it's just different shades of cream. </div>

Painting my nails or any sort of self pampering, makes me look and feel better.
