know what I hate about toast? Crumbs. god I hate crumbs. How is everyone this fine morning?

I have to go to a meeting with my sales guys at work, in Toronto this morning. I am excited because it means that for half of the day, I dont really have to work!! AND? I think the fish guy is at Costco today, so guess what im having for dinner? LOTS OF SHELLFISH!

Yay Shellfish Friday for Nebb!

I'm having coffee with my MIL at 9, then I have to return a coat. I tried on one, and then bought the same size from the back of the rack and it's smaller. DAMNIT.

Was it a different colour? I hate when the same thing is somehow not the same thing in stores. That drives me crazy. I know full well its because they cheap out so their profit margins are higher so there is no consistency.

Nope, same color! I just wanted one that hadn't been tried on. I was a dumbass for not trying that one on in the store! I'm one of those that looks at every item and picks the best one. I'm an idiot.

It fits everywhere but the boobies. Stupid big boobies.

My boss is buying us all jackets at work with the company logo on them and he had me try on a mens large that was WAY too long in the arm, and I said it fit fine but I would prefer a ladies jacket and he immediately started jotting down "laaadies... laarge" and I said no no, XL, and he looked at me funny.

Boobs sir, boobs. Ladies jackets are measured by the boobs.

They truly are, and it's amazing how many jackets for women aren't cut for boobs. WTF?

I find it strange how most clothes are just not proportionate. I dont have skinny waist by any means but I hate that sometimes I have to go ultra baggy in the waist to get a shirt that fits my tits (and I should add, im not THAT big up top either). Its like no one knows how to make clothes.

Haha, I am glad this doesn't just happen to me. I get stray pieces of hair that fall down my shirt often, and it drives me nuts if I'm sitting in front of someone and can't dig it out. There's never a classy way to pull hair out of your cleavage.

I hate irregular jackets! But I do the same thing Bec, in terms of picking the best one. Especially if there's a pattern, I have to find the one where it falls the best with the seaming.

I hear ya, Nebb. I'm a medium everywhere but the boobs. I get so sick of having my mom take in the waist of shirts and dresses just to get them to fit my boobs.

Beatles, most people hate shopping with me. I sometimes even hate shopping with myself. But I always look at every item and pick the best one. I can't help it!

And I would like a new winter coat.  I don't have the boob problem because well, I'm lacking there, but when they fit my waist, they are generally too tight in my shoulders.  Stupid man shoulders!

Gooooood morning!

I hate that clothes are cut for big boobs.  Like the shirt I'm wearing now.  It's, like, 3-4 inches too big at my waist, but too tight across my boobs.  Stupid.  Boobs.  Boooooobs.

We went to an art sale last night and bought our first piece!  Very exciting.  But damn, art is expensive!  I need to start getting prints.

I'm taking H out tonight for his birthday. We've never been there, so I looked online at the menu... it didn't list any prices. Gulp. Good thing I love him lots. He's not really getting a present, so I don't mind taking him out. 

On the clothes issue, I will buy a size larger sometimes and tailor it at home for the perfect fit.

Happy Friday all! Its been a pretty good week, so I can't complain. We are off to visit my Grandmother this weekend- finally making good on our promise to come up- lol

I hate clothes shopping for the very reasons mentioned above..although I'm not small up top, it shouldn't be this hard to fit me!

I'm with everyone on the big boobs = sucky clothing selection.  

I have so much stuff to do this weekend that I'm pretty sure it's not going to feel like a weekend.  I changed my mind on the BM dresses since several people weren't crazy about them.  Went shopping again last night with a couple of them and we found perfect dresses  Everyone should have them ordered in the next couple of weeks. While we were there they told me my dress is "ready to ship" so it should be here in a couple of weeks.  

OWN, I hope everything went as well as it could and your family is doing well.  I've thought about you guys a lot this week.

This. I have to wear button down shirts for work. I always have to get them a size, sometimes two sizes, bigger just to keep from giving everyone a peep show. Of course, then the rest of me looks like a potato because of it. {sigh}

OWN- I have been thinking about you, wondering how you and the family are doing.Glad you are home safe. I really dont even know what can be said at a time like this. With the elderly you expect these things. But we should never have to bury a child. I'm so sorry, how are the parents doing? Do they have other children?

I am so glad its Friday. Finally. My best friend is coming into town tonight and I can't wait to see her.
I kinda feel like a zombie today. I got upset last night and then couldn't sleep for awhile.
Also, I do not have this boob problem you guys are talking about. Shirts are usually too big for me in the upper area.. no fair! lol

Happy Friday!

This week has flown by. I've been out of town for training again. Then dealing with a photographer's double booking/not wanting to give me my deposit back, I'm ready for the weekend.

Camden is going on her first all weekend sleep over. My sister is taking her to the mountains. She also has a toddler, so maybe she'll do ok. We're having "date night" tonight and tomorrow night. I'm pretty excited.

Thanks, KD.  I appreciate that very much.   Cody's parents are just kids themselves (to me - no offense to the young women on here)- barely 21 years old, not married, no other children.  They are pretty much devastated, but amenable to getting therapy, so that's good.  Mark has a wonderful family, and so does the baby's dad, so everyone is really pulling together and lifting each other up. 

The mom blames herself, but I've seen the layout of the home where the accident happened, and there is no way she was at fault.  She did everything a reasonable, careful parent would do.  It was a horrible accident, that's all.

Good Morning, Ladies!

I hate crumbs in the butter tub.  Everywhere else (except cleavage) is ok.  I can wipe them off the counter or the floor, but don't put them in the butter - it looks dirty and unsanitary there, and makes me have to scrape them out and put them down the sink.
